So If you have uneven lips - I think it looks very cool and there shouldn't be this idea in the world that things HAVE TO BE EVEN!
It's not true. It has to be as it is. Gorgeous and unique.
However if I get requests - I try to help.
Let say someone has uneven lips after lip fillers or injections or lip surgery gone wrong. Or they just want to make a surgery to fix uneven lips, but maybe my tips will help not to lie under a knife. I hope so. So the certain makeup technique can be in the middle of your way to accept yourself. First you correct it with makeup - and in some time you won't even need it at all - you will love what you have naturally!

The little encouragement in the beginning made me smile so hard, I’ve had uneven lips since puberty because my adult teeth grew out unevenly and it’s nice to know it’s seen as something other than an imperfection
My lips are uneven but honestly I think it looks worse if I overdraw my upper lip.... I just wish my lower lip wasn't as protruding rather than it being longer in height you know? But your opening statement about how you think uneven lips are fine made me appreciate them. Thanks 😊
I love and admire how in every video you always compliment and say you love what to a lot of us is a flaw. Like crooked lips or a large or crooked nose.

I also love uneven lips! My lips are like that, especially when I talk or smile and my mom always told me to "train" them to be symmetrical, but I think a little asymmetry makes one's face look more interesting and also kinda sexy.
Your tricks are very helpful though, as always! I've never thought of creating this light spot in the centre of the lips but it seems to be a great idea :)

I have that (uneven lower lip)! In actuality, it's because part of my vermillion is missing. Since I love dark lip colors, I've never had a problem creating even-ness, but when I'm makeup free, the uneven looks is extremely apparent.

The outer two thirds of my upper lip are completely down turned. They are not visible at all when my mouth is closed and barely visible when it's open. The center third is shaped nicely at my Cupid's bow and all, but I can not figure out how to overdraw my top lip in a way that doesn't look ridiculous. I'm not sure if anyone else has this issue, but I am beginning to think it's just not possible to do. I would appreciate any advice. I love your approach to makeup, by the way! It's like science and art all wrapped up in makeup! Thank you!!!
Colleen Riordan I have this too! I have yet to find a way to overdraw, I generally just don’t wear anything but tinted chapstick for this reason
Emily Schultheiss Same here. I can only wear tinted ChapStick, lip balm, or gloss in light, neutral colors or it will draw too much attention to my upper lip. I hate it, because I love black and other dark "vampy" colored lipsticks. My upper lip is so non existent on the sides that if I rub my lips together to spread my lipstick around after I apply it (like almost all people do), I get color all over the skin around my upper lip. LOL I don't dislike my lip shape at all when my lips are just natural (I actually like the unique shape a lot), but it just makes applying and wearing lipsticks VERY difficult.

Hello, Aly! I have a question about concealers, and I'd greatly appreciate your feedback.
We always hear how the common issue with concealers is that they get into the fine lines on the face unless we set them with powders. Naturally, I set my concealed areas and all is well. However, I have an entirely different problem. The concealer never settles into my fine lines, but the opposite - it literally escapes from the fine lines, and what's left is like bare cracks on my skin. This happens under the eyes and around my mouth. Luckily I'm young and I don't have many fine lines, but a few under the eyes and one on each sides of my mouth are somewhat prominent. I'm very fair and this can be very visible, and so far I haven't found a solution. Primers don't help keep the makeup in place, even setting the concealer doesn't work...
I'd love ti hear from you in the future if you've ever encountered this problem.

Can you PLEASE do a vid on correcting uneven eyes? One of my eyes is noticeably bigger than the other (protrudes more, is wider top to bottom so crease is higher than other eye and undereye bag is lower than other eye, etc).
I know basics (dark color=shadow, light color=flat/forward surface) but the problem is, how do I correct one eye to look the same size as the other while still making the overall look match on both eyes?
(ie, I know if I put a darker color in the center of my lid, it'll make it look like my eye sticks out less, but I can't then match and put the same color on the other eyelid because that's the one that's more receded, and they'll just look uneven again.)
My top lip is uneven and I love it too. :)

Another Brilliant video, this was super helpful, and I can definitely use it on my lower lip. My main problem however, is that my top lip is pretty small compared to my bottom lip, and coming down from the cupid's bow, one side is more rounded, and the other side is fairly straight. If you could show how to correct that, I'd really appreciate it. Lots of love from Las Vegas! 🥰

I have a very large bottom lip and an uneven smaller top lip. One side of my top lip is fuller than the other. Back in cosmetology school they told me to line my top lip going up on one side and down on the other to correct the fullness. But it never seems to work. Any suggestions?

I don’t get my lips. In the mirror I never see that they are uneven, on photographs too, but when I take a Selfie they are terribly uneven. This makes me so insecure.
If I put foundation or concealer on the lips then no matter what lipstick I put on top, somehow the foundation seems to gather in a line where my lips close! so gross

Is there any way you can create a detailed how to video on overdrawing your lips? I keep trying to do it, but I look like a mess every time. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I have a super thin upper lip and a much larger lower lip that almost covers my upper lip. I want to be able to wear lipstick again. I need help lol

Nice video!My problem is well,You know when a woman starts to get older You also start losing your lip line and Your lips also lise their volume.Ill be 41 on the 15th of this Month.And Although most people think I'm around 27-29,I notice The lines starting a bit,and My cupid bow is not there hardly now,so I overline,but when You overtime your lips and you are standing near or facing someone in conversation they can clearly see where Your lips are really at inside the line,it does matter what color I wear or anything and I'm very precise with it,You can just still see it.😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
