How to Get You Synth Sound Working Again in Cakewalk

Many times, I and other Cakewalk users have been confused by a synth track that refuses to make any sound even though there's a correctly connected MIDI controller (either virtual or desktop).
In this video GRG shows a typical situation where the synthesizer apparently stopped working, even though it was definitely getting a MIDI signal, and even played from MIDI data on the timeline.
Can it be fixed? Is it really that complex? Sometimes, the answer is right under our noses....
Cakewalk by Bandlab is a very powerful and FREE DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). I've been using it since it was a Roland product and still find more and more capability, and also get tripped up from time to time.

I have the same problem but it has nothing to do with automation, i just think i dont understand sends or busses i dont even know ehat they are, if you could help or make a video on that
