    Jaun - 1/2 cup
    Roasted chana - 2 cups
    Jeera powder - 1 tsp
    Atta - 2 cups
    Namak
    Ajwain - 1/4 tsp
    Ghee - 2-3 tbsp
    Filling ke liye
    Sattu - 1.5 to 2 cups
    Hara dhaniya - 2 tbsp
    Chilli flakes - 1 tsp
    Lehsun - 1 tbsp
    Hari mirch - 2-3
    Namak
    Pyaaz - 1
    Nimbu ka ras - 1
    Chutney
    Tamatar - 2
    Lehsun - 10-12
    Namak
    Lal mirch - 4-5
    Chokha
    Baingan - 1
    Tamatar - 2
    Uble hue aloo - 2
    Hara dhaniya - 2 tbsp
    Lehsun - 1 tbsp
    Adrak - 1 inch
    Kala namak - 1/2 tsp
    Hari mirch - 2
    Namak
    Sarso tel - 1 tbsp
    Jeera - 1/2 tsp

    don't put charcoal directly on the roof surface, because some times due to excessive heat it gets burst or cracked this case was happend in my childhood .
    So you can put bricks and then spread the charcoal

    I tried this recipe with few changes and it came out really nice
    Added aam ke achar ka masala in litti filling and also to the chokha
    Also added chopped onion to chokha

    The closest it gets to authentic Bihari style. Really amazing. Hard to believe comes from a Gujrati chef 😀. Even Bihari chefs can't resist some shortcuts. Hats off. I m not surprised as have seen ur other videos but being a Bihari this touched me.

    Almost everything thing was typical bihari style except the use of barley in the filling. The idea of simple bhatti at terrece was cool.

    In bihar my grandmother uses oil from manga pickle and it's masala instead of lemon. And that's the ultimate thing to bind the sattu for litti. Believe me.

    bhaiya sattu ka main ingredient to aap bhool hi gye achar or sarso ka tel jo ki bihar jharkhand ka sabse important ingredient hai ... bina achar or sarso oil ke kaise litti complete hogi.... i know ki ye bihari style nhi hai but ye hote to bahut testy ho jati ..

    You ought to use a layer of bricks & sand beneath the fire 🔥 . Else the terrace floor concrete beneath will be damaged badly and will show its effects after one year or so. And you will keep on pondering that what went wrong during the construction of the same.

    Use paper because clothes are synthetic which is more dangerous for health... I m from up and waha ese hi banate h 😊😊 but we used to have this with mutton curry without stuffing 😜😜 btw water nhi mustard oil use krte h binding ke liye stuffing me.. 😊

    Many mistake in cooking Lityi chokha.
    1 Do not add waterb to sattu but mustard oil.
    2 After baking Litti ,clean it with cotton clothes.
    3 Tadka is not used for chokha but raw mustard oil.

    Sattu should be of bengal gram only dont mix barley.

      @Inputting Ddiode it's not the matter of good or bad it is the matter of taste. Especially in litti we should only use bengal gram sattu. When this sattu is mixed with virgin mustard oil it tastes great. Dude try this original way. Keep your litti original.

    Bhai sattu toh seal batte se pees kar banta hai.agar Chula ke liye itna dhyan rakhe the toh seal batte b use kar Lena chahiye tha.
