Also check out Gateways Through Light and Shadow by Frater Ashen Chassan, he talks a lot about his skull which houses his familiar.

If you haven't read them yet you should check out Richard Gavin's books The Benighted Path and The Infernal Masque, I think you would like them a lot.

@@asterperpetua Yeah I think you (and just about anyone else) will be impressed by how much detail Ashen Chassan goes into about his process with not only his skull and familiar, but also his workings with so many very powerful and highly exalted spirit's including the 7 Archangels. The level of skill and complexity of his practice is truly amazing, there would be very few occultists or practioners of any tradition to rival him, if any.

Witches of America by Alex Mar has a chapter on oracular heads (the chapter is on necromancy). Not gonna lie, the person the author discusses in this chapter takes his pursuit for knowledge very far, and I found it very disturbing. But given your interest, you might want to read that chapter.

wow 👀 to be honest I don't know if I would have an oracular head myself, but the whole concept does trigger my curiosity. I'm gonna look for that book, thank you!

@@asterperpetua The book is a memoir of a documentary maker who explores witchcraft in the US.She especially focuses on the Faery and OTO or Thelema. The most interesting chapter in the book is the one on necromancy. It is shocking but fascinating at the same time. After reading it, I immediately told all my family members to cremate me when I die and make sure nothing remains. 😂 The thing is, I’ve heard of what the guy in this chapter describes being done before, by “black” magicians in my country.
