And my theory about the bow is that after seeing how op it was in TP, especially given how early you get it, they decided to make it the last item so you cant snipe every enemy in the game.
By leaving the fairy in the past we can now claim it to be a natural habitat for the three in current time as we now have historical precedence for them living in "the wild" there. Good work on the nature preserve
Timeshift Stone (TSS) on: We're trapped! TSS off: ... TSS on: Huh, what happened? TSS off: ... TSS on: I'm scared. Me too. TSS off: ... TSS on: No, I don't want to go back to the darkness! TSS off: ...

We interrupt this program to bring you this urgent news bulletin. Emile has announced that he actually likes the evil exploits of the Battery Meter. This might be more controversial than what caused JonTron to be kicked from Youka-Laylee. More news on these dark events as they develop; I'm Green Dragon 53, and let's hope that this was just an April Fool's joke.
I still remember this dungeon as being the one where I went crazy with the counters. The Mega Man! Mega Man! counter, the A BEE? counter I think was one too. Heh, it's been a while.
0:39 Take notes, Minecraft developers. 1:43 So, the Slingshot is now a cool-looking paperweight and nothing more as usual? 5:03 The brig that he won't lead you to. Great captain there. I'd give him five stars but that method of rating quality has been obsolete for years, according to the people at Google. 9:04 Damn, arrow to the face at point-blank range. I almost feel bad for that Technoblin. 10:30 But you didn't even deactivate a tower (I love making obscure references). 13:40 Read with your eyes first then with your mouth. 14:09 Especially Super Mario/Luigi Galaxy (which I will continue watching after I finish watching this video). 17:00 Even though you use your arms to flick the whip. 17:34 You do that all the time anyway when trying to show alternative methods of going up against various enemies so what's the issue? :P 18:05 If shiny is good then is sparkly nice? I would think so. 19:07 Anyone who went through The Bottom of The Well in Ocarina of Time probably never wants to have to deal with disembodied arms in video games ever again. 20:00 What's a bully's favorite dessert? *Pound Cake!* . . . I'll see myself out. 21:00 Imagine if Rupee text boxes counted towards the Redundant Explanation counter. We'd be well above two hundred by this point. XD 21:43 Maybe the next Legend of Zelda game will be Paper Zelda. 21:48 Interesting life dreams, Chugga.
I wonder when you go back in the present, does the captain die? like he still on the ship correct? so when you hit that switch everytime, I wonder if the captain becomes a stone again when you do that.
oh okay. I appreciated you not calling me an idiot. the internet is full of people who won't hesitated to call you an idiot or stupid or whatever. thanks! :)
But, couldn't there only be one timeshift stone active at one time? Since if that's the case when he switches to the past in the pirate ship it goes to the past time deactivating the little boat's time stone (though it does go far enough so the little boat is also in the past) but then when you switch time back to the present, there is no-one to hit the timeshift stone on the little boat to put the time to the past, so... You still kinda "kill" him.
20:30 When the Whip item says "Stop", it doesn't mean "Stop using the Whip and fall", it means you can steady yourself like you would with any other ropes. It makes aiming for this ledge an easy task.
18:46 Um, couldn't Link just, I don't know, turn off the Timeshift Stone, carry the Captain's deactivated crew out of the cell one at a time, and then turn them back on by reactivating the Timeshift Stone once they're all free instead of taking the long way around through the crusher filled death trap that is the engine room? I mean, yeah it wouldn't exactly be the most pleasant of experiences for the crew, but would that really make that big a difference for them in the long run considering how many times you already need to toggle the Timeshift Stone on/off as is?
Quickman may win A video that looked like a normal episode of her Heart Gold LP, but was something else. I forgot what Episode 69 happened to fall on April 1st, so that wasn't an opportunity to pass up. But when she only updates 3 days a week...lol
He made a clickbait April Fools video on TheRunawayGuys' channel today, and in his first year or two of let's playing he played a little bit of Mega Man 2 potato-cam as an April Fools project.
Thank you Emile for actually bringing content today, not usually a fan of April Fools videos. This series has actually made me give this game a second go. Appreciation all-around, so glad I've been subscribed since 2010.
Hello again, my gaming friend! "What keeps glitching out?! This is the third time it's happened!" Apparently, Emile is too badass to notice that he's being fired at and missed by that archer in the crow's nest... Also, reference...
One thing I realized is, you also turn the captian back in time on the ship at the time he boards it as well. Not only his crew. That is also very interesting.
One of my favorite Things To Do in Skyward Sword was, once I had the bow, I would go to Skyloft and get as far away from the Knight Academy as possible, and try to strike the bell atop it with an arrow.
Actually the reason you got nothing from the barrels was because you went back in time and took the arrows out of the barrels causing them not to be there in the present
Chugga! At 24:24 you never placed a Redundant Explanation counter! I'm too lazy to go forward atm and see if it was added to the total ,but I would like to also add that at some point in the Eldin Volcano dungeon there was also a Lizard Tail you didn't put a counter on that you may have also not added to the total.
To an extent, I appreciate the bow taking this long to show up. In Twilight Princess (my introduction to 3D zelda titles), you get the bow in the second dungeon, and the gale boomerang from the first already makes the slingshot worthless.
I was playing breath of the wild when an octorock was shooting at me so I shot at it as it went back in the water. I ended up missing the first octorock and shooting a different one behind it without even knowing it existed
am i the only one that thinks having a portable Timeshift stone would have been a great item to have? I think it could have been an extremely unique item to have and could have been used in so many ways in dungeons
That bow actually mirrors how real bows work as in shot deviation doesn't actually happen for a pretty long distance but the odd thing is the arrow just rests on Links's hand which if he isn't careful he could easily shoot off his finger and the arrows would already be wearing away at the gloves he wears also the way he holds the bow is left-handed compared to him holding the sword in his right hand!
i'd like to thank you emile i too am playing skyward sword on an unrelated note i'm way ahead of this lp right now but i didn't even know that piece of heart on the sand ship was there
24:56 fun fact...I was playing this dungeon recently and I always stole the horn from the Bokoblin everytime I passed through...But he would always drop a gold skull for some reason.....so I ended up with 7 gold skulls after I did the dungeon
I've seen some amazing archery shots in Skyrim too. I've seen people shoot arrows at a location then immediately fast travel to that location. Then you see the arrow slam into their target. Usually someone walking along. That means they predicted their target's path without being able to see them.
At 18 minutes, if I were Link, I'd just hit the Timeshift stone, carry their remains through, and watch them freak out as they're saved yet confused by being instantaneously moved across the room from their point of view
It's not really time travelling. When you read what Fi said, things around the Timeshift Stone are in a past state, meaning you don't go back in time, but you kind of make things be like the way they were in the past. This means the robots you see now are still in the present, just in a working state like they were in the past. Anything that exit the timeshifted area will no longer be in a past state, and so they revert to what they were in the present, which is death for the bokoblins and "out of power" for the robots. Likewise, anything that enters the timeshifted area will now be in a past state, but since the past state is VERY far behind in time, most creatures simply vanish because their past state is one of not existing. Except the Ampalus, which can live that long and instead have a past state of a "baby". The reason why this stone is to not be used by humans (like the robots says), is because a human would possibly vanish if they hit a Timeshift Stone, because they could be in a past state where they didn't even exist. Robots however don't fear this state of non existence that much, because they only need to be maintained in order to "live", meaning if they don't trigger the stones for long years, they could just be reverted to a past state where they were still working, maybe 100 or 1,000 years ago, or even more. Now explaining why Link doesn't "die" when striking the stones is to be found. My theories are: 1) Game flaw; 2) Hylia protects Link; 3) Link is timeless.
What I think is hilarious is that I figured out how to get onto that strip no problem. But getting down to the engine room kept me walking around the ship for SO LONG despite the fact that I went down there before when I was exploring and just forgot how I did it.
I was just realized, if Skipper walked onto the ship, then every time you switch time, you kill him. Good job Chugga, you murdered your friend at lwast twice in this episode.
Since the captain seems to be the only one of those robots that seems to be aware that the timeshift stones are the only thing keeping them alive do you think it thinks anything about that just before you hit a time shift stone? Does the captain sense when the time shift stone is hit and feel its energy fading? Does it think in the seconds before it dies once again, "Will the timeshift stone be reactivated again, letting me keep living, or will this be the last thing I see ever again?"
So...are the Robots AWARE of the time shifting shenanigans? Skipper talks as if he knows about the passage of several ceturies despite being affected by the Time Shift himself.

Welcome to another episode of Skyward Sword the game where we try to use everything but our sword. Today's episode we use only the bow.
The moment you realize that Scervo was operating the entire sand ship solo, he’s even more badass then any of us realized
Can't wait until we fight Mike Wasowski's girlfriend next episode!!!
Mushroom Dude - a real fungi April fools? I guess.
+98Nonnie is I thought you were talking about the character from Awakening for a second.
Mushroom Dude - a real fungi Good call
And the episode after that we will get the missing episode of majora's mask.
I always thought it looked more like Boo's monster costume
And my theory about the bow is that after seeing how op it was in TP, especially given how early you get it, they decided to make it the last item so you cant snipe every enemy in the game.
Last time he called this the Windwaker, this time he doesn't even say, "Hey everybody it's Chuggaaconroy!"?

You thought it was a glitch but they were arrows. The game April Foolsed you.
Fooled*
Wilfred Cthulu I never said ''nobody'' was a dick
no he meant Foolsed, cuz its called April Fools Day
foolsed is not a word. If you wanna say, you april fooled someone, you have so say/type "fooled"
Hiruko puns aren't words and they still exist...
God, I LOVE this dungeon. The bow is used brilliantly, and the shooting in between rooms was amazing. Favorite in the series
3 minutes late? That's Emile's idea of a April Fools joke.
It almost worked, I thought for a while he wasn't gonna upload today.
TitaniumStar We're so kind viewers aren't we?
Nick Wilde Yep.
(Forgive me Emile)
My Idea of a joke with my upload was terrible. Only like 14 veiws.

Every time Fi pops up in this area, I can only think of one thing. Mega Man! Mega Man!
The words spoken by He Who Rules the Toilets?
The Lord of Bathrooms
He who has slain Poo the Great and Mighty
I still remember this dungeon as being the one where I went crazy with the counters. The Mega Man! Mega Man! counter, the A BEE? counter I think was one too. Heh, it's been a while.
NintendoCapriSun my personal fave is your IN THE BATHROOM counter
0:39 Take notes, Minecraft developers.
1:43 So, the Slingshot is now a cool-looking paperweight and nothing more as usual?

10:30 But you didn't even deactivate a tower (I love making obscure references).

14:09 Especially Super Mario/Luigi Galaxy (which I will continue watching after I finish watching this video).

17:34 You do that all the time anyway when trying to show alternative methods of going up against various enemies so what's the issue? :P

Thankful that Chugga isn't the type to waste a day with an April Fool's fake video.
A little bitter remembering what Lucahjin did last year :P
TurquoiseStar17 what did he do?

nah that just happens after a video gets uploaded initially
I love how you talk about the bow versus the slingshot and how resourceful the slingshot is throughout the entire game. Thank you :D
One of my favorite Things To Do in Skyward Sword was, once I had the bow, I would go to Skyloft and get as far away from the Knight Academy as possible, and try to strike the bell atop it with an arrow.
24:17 missed redundant explanation.
last time i was this early it was The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - Episode 46: Robot Pirate Island
Actually the reason you got nothing from the barrels was because you went back in time and took the arrows out of the barrels causing them not to be there in the present
At least no April fools pranks were pulled in this video. Thank goodness.
Petition to call Link's bow the Fujin Yumi.
My life is complete I'm watching chuugaaconroy :')
Chugga! At 24:24 you never placed a Redundant Explanation counter! Genius use of the arrows. One of this dungeon's strong points

Bruddahs and sisters it is time to- ah screw it
Don't forget you can use the whip to steal monster horns from those bokoblin archers
17:05 Technically he's still using his arms, though. He's just using them in a different way.
This dungeon is why I never finished Skyward Sword, seeing you go through so easily makes me want to go back!
I was playing breath of the wild when an octorock was shooting at me so I shot at it as it went back in the water. I ended up missing the first octorock and shooting a different one behind it without even knowing it existed
That room with the 5 chests always gets me. It's the last thing I do in this dungeon before facing the boss.
i was expecting an april fools video, but hey just as great as ever
Nobody cares who is first second or whatever, just enjoy chuggaa's new video!
The moment that you realize that every time Chugga went back to the present Skipper died
I just realized something. This isn't a big deal but despite Link being right handed in this game, he still uses the bow left handed.
I've never played this game and was expecting the ship brig music to be wind waker related
i look forward to these videos all day. anyone ells?
Looks like "sparky thing" is the new "Waking Water".
Where's the redundant explanation counter at 24:21? Is it meant to be a April Fools joke? Also, this comment is not a April fools joke.
That would be x133 my friend.
he probably just missed it in editing again he'll fix it when he gets a redundant explanation in the next episode
am i the only one that thinks having a portable Timeshift stone would have been a great item to have? I think it could have been an extremely unique item to have and could have been used in so many ways in dungeons
Get your motor running. Head out on the highway. Looking for Adventure, and whatever comes our way.
I love the fact that you keep making el dorado references!
heck. I've binged this whole.series expecting it to be over when I got here XD

Thank God, a video that isn't april fools.
Goddess Walls are only useful if you're a good drawer with a STEADY hand. I am not.
When you get the 10 arrow explanation,it rhythmically matches with "you get ten arrows"
24:56 fun fact...I was playing this dungeon recently and I always stole the horn from the Bokoblin everytime I passed through...But he would always drop a gold skull for some reason.....so I ended up with 7 gold skulls after I did the dungeon
I swear to god if I see one more Italian Goomba Comment.....
Inazuma Pyrax I share your pain
Italian Goomba? What?
XenobladeShulk He's some dumbass who keeps posting the same comment every video.
XenobladeShulk I think he is a Chuggaaconroy meme
You mean you swear to our pun lord and savior Chuggaaconroy? ;P
8:10 You didn't mess up Chugga! "In the present time" would just mean the time you are currently in.
chuggaa is forever scared from that time he left the stone tower temple mid way through in majoras mask
I've seen some amazing archery shots in Skyrim too. I've seen people shoot arrows at a location then immediately fast travel to that location. Then you see the arrow slam into their target. Usually someone walking along. That means they predicted their target's path without being able to see them.

through rain or sleet or April fools, chugga will still deliver a video.
you forgot to say "Hey everybody its chuggaaconroy and welcome back to The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword"
It's not really time travelling. When you read what Fi said, things around the Timeshift Stone are in a past state, meaning you don't go back in time, but you kind of make things be like the way they were in the past. Now explaining why Link doesn't "die" when striking the stones is to be found. My theories are:
1) Game flaw;
2) Hylia protects Link;
3) Link is timeless.
3:50 that's masae!! im watching her OoT gameplay right now and she was just doing that!!
Let me guess, the title of the boss video is going to be something like "Release the Kraken?"
Monster Horn

Wait... It's true! The treasure room is symmetrical! Beautiful!
Now I can rest in peace at night knowing that Chuggaaconroy secretly Likes his batteries getting low...

The 24:26 amber relic needed a redundant message scream
What I think is hilarious is that I figured out how to get onto that strip no problem. But getting down to the engine room kept me walking around the ship for SO LONG despite the fact that I went down there before when I was exploring and just forgot how I did it.
only chugga, hates people when they can shoot him from long distances (snipers), but loves people who can shoot long distances if it's not people
mg friend had a singing fish, when the batteries got low it sounded like it was saying "look out". it was properly spooky
M8, u have to use yours arms to use the ship so ye the goddess didn't say u could be lazy lol
Chuggaconroy:something is glitching behind link
Realised its actually a bokoblin
So...are the Robots AWARE of the time shifting shenanigans? Skipper talks as if he knows about the passage of several ceturies despite being affected by the Time Shift himself.
Let us thank papa Chug for this episode today
4:28 "...like sitting in an armchair..."
Not an entirely hypothetical situation eh, Chugga?
THANK YOU for not having and april fools vid and giving me something to watch!
Well chugga has technically done an April fools joke video with the "Walkaway Guys"
Take a drink every time he confuses time periods
8:54 also the getting-cut edge of bokobilin fashion
I agree with getting the Bow last. It really does give the Slingshot time to shine!
man the sand ship is great.. awesome concept and awesome execution!
He missed a redundant explanation when he found the amber relic in the generator room
