Pretty sweet little edc blade. Personally I would go with the bigger on just because I prefer bigger knives but I love how customizeable hinderers are. Great review 👍
I love the size of this type of knife. I was debating flipper or no flipper but I think for a first hinderer I may have to have a flipper. I hope it’s no that bad of a choice.
i love the 3'' the most! what i dont get about hinderer is that why would this model in europe be 300-400eu and then the 24 which is just a bigger version cost 660?! since when does it cost more then double to increase the size of a knife by 40% ?? nice vid tho!
Well it is double the materials and the materials are valued by weight, also the mill and tooling is a lot more so it would cost more to make, what i hate is when the smaller knife costs more
@@NeevesKnives I know what you mean mate but we both know materials is not the expensive part of a knife. But i do think that on that base they try to justify the price indeed.
I feel your pain 😒, I've been wanting an XM-18 3" for quite some time but here in Europe even the most basic model would set me back 400USD 🥺... but that's not only the case with Hinderer unfortunately, any knife here is at least 30% more expensive than in the US. Life is hard when you're a knife enthusiast in Europe 😅
@@Didier090765 yeah thats definitely an issue, you should find other European collectors to buy and sell to, to make sure you can make deals with people with the same issues
I handled one and I’m not a fan of the choil. I would go no choil version. I don’t like Chili’s that are only first knuckle choils. I think strider has the best choil. I would love a 3.5 as well
They have terrible customer service. They don’t respond back to any calls or emails. My first slicer grind xm-18 was horrible and was the last one dlt trading had in stock so I wanted to send it in to be fixed under warranty and they never got back to me ever. Dlt wound up getting the battle black slicers in and was able to trade the bad one in on the one you have now.
Oh wow ive heard from other people that they had good experiences, and im sure this bs with covid had a lot to do with service this year. But that sucks
Neeves Knives I called and emailed multiple times stating my problems with the knife and it was several issues wrong with it. Not a single response back at all. Nothing. I got lucky that they came back in stock in a variant I liked before my 30 day return period was up.
You should not keep posting the same knives every day on your channel give it some time between each video if you don't have any new knives or information it's getting really boring all your lists have the exact same knives? Made me unsubscribe until this changes used to really enjoy your channel hope you move in the right direction good luck
You dont have to watch the video that comes up, i get boxes of knives in for review get multiple videos out of each, ive only done one review on this knife, other videos where this knife was shown wasnt a review, what am i not supposed to do a top ten video because i have a review on the knife, and the knives always change, this knife is going back to its owner this week, ive only had this knife for a few weeks so i really dont get what your saying, yes some knives make it into multiple videos because they are awesome, but i only have them for a few weeks so i get as much content as i can from them if they deserve it. But if its a review your not interested in then dont watch it theres always others

I agree, but if or when you do habevto carry small this is a great one to carry
That is a great small knife, but I would opt for the 3.5” if I were to stay in the XM series. My go to is the Jurassic. Nice review...spot on.
Yeah i liked reviewing the Jurassic, it was super comfortable in the hand

No its not a bad choice both are very nice

beautiful scale on that amazing hinderer xm-18
The handle screws are not torx. On the 3.0 XM-18 they are 1/16" HEX.
Did i say torque my bad
@@NeevesKnives I took the $20 Hinderer Bolt size class on that one. Live and learn. Keep up the great content!
Mmmmm Hinderer! Good vid sir. ✌️

I have the 3” non flipper. The ergos are so much better for me without the flipper. Little tank of a knife.
Yeah i bet, thats badass.
Thumbs up
My spyderco endura is way better!
