Thanks for commenting! I think a lot of people experience tailbone pain and just stop riding. I hope my experience can help people get back on their bikes, and enjoy riding without pain.
I experienced from the same saddle pain myself. I fixed it by raising the saddle up which now allows me to lift my rear off the saddle by standing on the right pedal when I come across road bumps. When I disconnect, the gap between my rear and saddle is just 2-3cms so make sure to set the saddle height correctly. The constant bumps will sore your rear bones sooner or later.

I'm also suffering from Coccyx pain. Stopped cycling for 2 months.Had been really worried as non of my cyclist friends have that pain even after vigorous cycling. Got confidence after seeing ur video. Now restarted after replacing existing seat with a Bontragger seat. Being from India, it will be difficult n costly as well to get the seat recommended by you. Anyways thanks a lot for the analysis. Keep posting.
My tail bone is in so much pain from riding my RadRunner2. I am under 5"2" with a very bad knee (surgery did not fix the knee). I'm also 68 years old, fat, and out of shape from living mostly in bed the last two years. Getting out of the house on a bike ride is so pleasurable to my mental well being, but my tail bone is screaming at me right now. Any suspension raises me too high off the ground. I cannot jump off a seat at stops. I've tried four bike seats so far, and the pain in my tail bone just gets worse with every ride. I'm desperate for the right seat.
wow, i really need this saddle. I've been experience tailbone pain lately after biking for about 15 km daily, and I want to experience long ride but afraid of this expected pain after.
Hello, I went to the website and for the life of me could not figure out how to measure. What kind of paper do they use or do they send you a kit? I would like to get a seat like this for my wife.
Sounds like a marketing baloney layer. Example "pain reduced by about 80%". 80% of what? The speaker divided a measurement by another measurement, in units of ... ?? ... and got an answer of ~0.8.
Sorry to hear! I hope you can get some relief with the right saddle. I've been riding nearly 1000 kms on this saddle and -- crossing fingers (!) -- so far I am still riding pain free.
Great video! I have the same problem, I don’t ride because I always have pain, thanks for sharing!! 😊

Really interesting. Thanks for sharing the link. I checked their pedals for road biking.
Great! Stay tuned because one of my next videos will be on ergomic pedals!

Glad the video was helpful. Also try doing a complete bike fit to get the cycle fitted for your specific needs. Good luck!

I really understand. This saddle has really helped A LOT. I no longer experience the pain during or after riding. Good luck!

If you search on RUclips “how to measure sir bones from home” you should be able to find a tutorial :)
So how do you measure sit bone without the special stool SQ provides?
