The Squam Lakes Association has been at the forefront of the battle against invasive Variable Milfoil in within the Squam Watershed. For many years, our Lakes Region Conservation Corps members, and the Conservation Interns before them, have tirelessly removed this aquatic plant by scuba diving. We are excited to announce that we have acquired a new milfoil removal boat, made with more sustainable materials and designed to replace our older model. We couldn't be more excited to have this new addition to our fleet and look forward to continuing our mission of protecting Squam Lake's beauty and natural resources for generations to come.
