Too many "parents" wanna be friends to their kids & their friends instead of being a parent! Know the difference! Being sorry after the fact does Nobody Any good! He might not be so lucky next time. Next time could be too late for somebody
Yep!!!!!! That's The Parent's Fault!!!! Spoiling your Damn Kids!!!!
Would you have them punished?
@@prst99 Yes!
If you weren't taught this a sa kid (even if its BS) you had shitty parents.
@@prst99what kind of question is that? My kid wouldn’t be able to sit down for a week if he had done something that stupid.
I can honstly say I am glad my dad disciplined me when I did dumb stuff.
I pray that the parents of the teen have insurance. 🙏🏼 This is the kind of thing that can make a family homeless!!! 😡
Would the parents be able to slowly pay the damages and punitive fee so that it wouldn’t make them homeless?
If they don’t have insurance we pay for it brainiac. This is a “no fault” insurance State. WE pay. All the rest of the insured drivers.
As it's an exterior wall, let's see if someone finds structural damages to the roof line. Even a slight drop will be costly.
After driving 🚗 for 8 hours for Doordash delivery, you'll get so tired of driving. How about driving for a delivery service instead so you don't have the desire to drive after work?
There has been a vehicle for years now doing donuts in pearl city near target by the navy's exchange at late hours in the night, sometimes it happens too near Daniel k inouye airport by the base housing. I hope really really hope it was these people that got caught and taken into custody. Enough with the foolishness
"a vehicle" IE: 1 vehicle.... 🤣
Tell me some more about how you have no idea of what is going on.
if they are doing it on military property, the mp's do NOT take abuse of their perimeter LIGHTLY!!!! its a federal offense punishable by jail time. If its military personnel its worse, dishonorable discharge if they end up in a bad or fatal collision! try get the plates, make, model, color and if you do that video thing with your phone, good.
The law and discipline needs to be severe, as there are too many people who have no regard for the law and it's penalties/repercussions.
He was already wrong using a Toyota Highlander to do freakin donuts with! 🤦🏻♂️
Other than insurance covering the damages and inconvenience, there may very well be a lawsuit.
This will those residence for the coming year. Claim, repair and restorations don't come quickly.
I'm old school, so my dad would've whooped my *ss something fierce!
This was negligence and irresponsibility to the point of criminality. He needs to be behind bars. Place your bets whether no fault will pay this one. “No Fault” means us. All other insured drivers. WE pay a fee every year for no fault. Insurance for other drivers who aren’t insured. Ask your insurance agent if you don’t believe me.
Can they add reckless endangerment to the charges?!
Man, that was my Dad's and Mom's house!!
Moms not gonna be happy that her mini vans trashed !
look at the HOUSE!!!! more bad damage than for the SUV.
Even if the driver's parent come to apologize to the homeowners, nothing can change how they will have to adjust their lives because of someone's carelessness.
Teenagers need to understand that driving is a HUGE responsibility! You don’t get behind the wheel of a vehicle and do whatever fun thing you think you can do!
And one thing my dad stressed when I was young, this car is tied to 'my' homeowner's insurance plan, so what you do affect the family...DON'T BE STUPID...UNDERSTAND!
They should hold the parents accountable for what their kids do ! Make the law leaders, common sense !
Just like the gun violence in the mainland, if a teenager is reckless, and the parents furnished the means, AGREED, hold them accountable too.
I buried my dead Cockatiel in a glass bottle in the backyard of this property in the early 1980s.
Crazy to me how they use this as a way to push for even slower speed limits... like this island has the slowest speed limits on planet earth and on top of that people already drive 15mph, 25mph EVEN 30MPH! Under speed limit.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perished but have an everlasting lfie. God loves you **
They just handing out license to these little SHTS like they handin out lollipops after going to the Dr's office. 😂
Since I got my license decades ago, they've made driver's education mandatory. They probably should make it mandatory for every driver to pay for insurance before they get behind the wheel. Then they MIGHT feel a little more responsibility. Like my dad said, it's a privilege to drive, and he can easily take that away from me if he found me to be irresponsible.
State of Hawaii need to make it some kind of laws it is very annoying E-bike and the moped wheelie on the road.
Mandatory 20 YEARS for ENDAGERING LIVES.
and 5 years for the wall
but look........bucky's out after serving 20 I think!
Real problem is children having children
I lossaaa status den..typically
🤦🤬
Uhm yeah there's a difference between circles and donuts that fwd highlander ain't breaking loose in the rear to do donuts. Likely doing circle and understeer straight into the house. If you're gonna do dumb things with a vehicle
1. Don't do it in residential areas
2. Don't do it in traffic
3. Understand what you're driving and what it can actually do
4. Practice alone before embarrassing yourself infront of you friends.
5. Don't do it somewhere or at the time where you'll get arrested.
Or do what some of us did, join an organization like SCCA (Sports Car Club of America). And get that out of your system in a safe and controlled environment. The streets are for transportation, not recklessness. Everyone needs to be glad that no one was hurt or killed...learn the lesson...everyone!
@EvilTheOne I don't even know if scca is in Hawaii?? and there is no track in Oahu to get it out of your system.
@@jacobearhart4170 I was a member back in the day, and they are still in this region. They operate out of the former Aloha Stadium parking lot, and has about 5 - 6 event coming up in late Summer 2024.
Nice tv😂
Yeessah!!! 😂
Again where’s your teens!
they no care...........probably busy "procreating" more.
Boy doing a street take over in a neighborhood in Toyota Highlander 😂😂😂
transplants. Who's SUV is it???? Probably parents, so they are going to pay.
go on the other road, california avenue. head up towards the intersection with the jack-in-the-box and look at the house with the junkyard out front at the corner of cypress and california. note the rubber "burn out" marks on the road. the people at that house regularly do all kinds of stupid car $hit and if you call the cops they just say they have to see it before they can write a ticket. i say sure i have a dashcam of them doing burn outs, doughnuts, staging on the sidewalk, etc. and they just dont care. if they dont see it themselves then no enforcement. i dont know who is more useless the crackheads at the house or the cops that wont do their jobs.
19 years old kid?
20 YEARS!
5 ppl in the car? He put everyone's life in danger.
And nobody was chasing him(cops) like in Waianae 2021 where the car flipped and six teens were all over the place scattered.
19 is an adult.WTF!!
AiYa!!! 😣LoLo HeAds..🥴
Re-open the track @ Barbers Point. Small island. Young adults need something exciting & invigorating besides surfing & hiking.
Aloha stadium trials is invitation only and even the electric e-cars are gone now in kapolei. Need some courses for cars and electric bikes so no excuse to do it on the road. 😕
whatever happened to that piece of news story about 2 months ago, in the Barbers point area
Like the tracks on the mainland, if there isn't a private financier to fund a track, I can't see the State or the C&C funding this money pit.
@@EvilTheOne : All they need is the tax-free fed land, approval from the county and some private backers to pave and manage it. If the island can support 40 golf courses, we should be able to manage one small race track. Keeps on getting shot down though, like the drag strip they used to have.
@@TIKIWOLF The closest thing to federal land they have to commit is the former Barber Point Naval Air Station/Kalaeloa. Although that has since been split apart in ownership, with the State, C&C, Federal Government and a local developer all having a piece of that property. And with how the Feds are playing dirty ball with Haleakala and Bellows, I'm not sure how much pull the state will have on another multi-million dollar project such as a raceway park. With the State going hundreds of millions into debt due to Lahaina's wilfire and still struggling to get the new stadium built, AND the C&C still pouring money into Skyline/HART Rail...a private developer would be the best economical solution at this time. But if that developer cannot see a return in investment, then it's not going to happen.
In my opinion...
@@EvilTheOne : Right. Probably better to have some boat races that can capitalize on tourist $$$ as well. Guess car racing is for Big Island or Cali.
Time to wake up
