Getting the Mini3P and what I really like about the maps is in compass mode. You can see the direction you are facing as to where the drone is. My friend is getting tired of turning me in the direction of the drone. LOL. Great video. Thanks.
Hey There! Great vid and to the point. Good work! I've had my M3P for some time now. I recall that there are no maps loaded in the RC. I had to connect to my iPhone in order to get the GPS map data. This wasn't intuitive for me at the time. I would assume the radar doesn't require such a connection, but it's worth a mention for those trying to see a map when they are not available. Cheers!
Just got mine today I know all the controls and all the settings. So I was prepared when I got it, but did not know about the radar showing which way the wind is coming when the drone is slightly tilted on radar! Just when I thought I covered everything.
Thanks for the maps tutorial. My question is at 0.38 when you turn the map view. The blue arrow which shows the heading of the drone, shows slightly off the correct heading/direction in my case. For eg. if my drone is facing 2 o'clock. The map view shows drone heading at 1 o'clock direction. Can you please explain why.
I’m thinking about buying a drone. I’d like one of these. Any idea when the newest version will come out? I’d hate to buy, then have the newer one drop a month later. Thanks.
If you are talking about the large "expanded" map view, you'll just need to tap on your map when it is small, in the bottom left corner of your live view screen. When you want your live view screen to expand again, tap it when it is small in the lower left corner. We hope this helps.

Being a new user this tip is great. Instead of tilting the camera up and down this way tells the hearing of the drone in a Nice way.

The rumor mill is always churning. As of yet, we don't believe there is anything definitive on a newer Mini version.
