Started a batch of LDN blades today. It's been several years since I've made a batch of knives before and it is kind of fun. #knifemaking #knifemaker #simplelittlelife
12 minutes where all my problems disappeared!! Thank you and keep up the great work. Your videos help people more than you'd probably ever know ! Thanks again
Nice littel batch. I agree 10 of the same knives can get booring. I usuall never make 3 or 4 of the same knife at the same time. But i make knives as a hobby not to make a living out of it. But when I do I superglue my steel blanks together so all outlines and holes are the same. Once done heat the stack up, superglue deteriorates and the blanks seperate again.
It may be boring doing an assembly line set of builds like these, but did you notice your muscle memory improve after duplicating several similar pieces?
@SimpleLittleLife -Jeremy, what PPE do you recommend for grinding and other processes requiring one? Do you a couple different ones, or a do it all one? Thx- keep makin’!
This is PERFECT timing, I just bought the little Princess Auto 1x30" (gotta start somewhere) belt sander yesterday when I was in Brandon. Unfortunately all they had was 120 grit belts in stock for now. Maybe I missed it, but what thickness material did you start with?
Ready to watch.
nice to see you back now with Alex getting more active again 2 out of 2 people who brought me in to knives are back that's awesome
Great to see that little guy back. Watched its first appearance years ago and still go back and watch it now and then.

@@Simplelittlelife I will be at blade show Atlanta. If you are there I’d love to meet you!
I would love to come but this year I don’t think it will work out.
@@Simplelittlelife welll shoot! Maybe next year!!
It was great my friend. But are these knives useful? Does it have to have a sheath?👏👏👍👍
Thank you! Yeah I will be making kydex sheaths for these when they’re done 👍

Yeah I did. The ones at the end are much quicker than it first couple 👍
Love your videos! What thickness is the steel you're using? Looks pretty thick, like about 3/16 to 1/4 inch. Keep it up!
P. S.
Will you sharpen these on your TSPROF?
Enjoy your dinner...
Yeah I probably will use the TSPROF👍

Would the profiling be square if the contact wheel was centered to the work table?
1️⃣0️⃣🎯
Wouldn't it be easier drill all the holes before you cut the knifes out of the bar
Yeah it might have been but I prefer this way. Not sure why. I’ve drilled it in bar form before and just didn’t enjoy it as much.
Lose the music please. You dont need it my friend.
I know I don’t need it but I do enjoy it. I can’t please everyone so I don’t even bother to try.
