Fam and I just hiked Angel Rock a few days ago. I wore the new VBX Bunny Boots ( w/ their branded ice spikes) manufactured by Alaska Gear Company. They are extremely comfortable, definitely warm (-25f ambient temp) and I had zero issues or complaints. The pliable shin closure is fantastic. I have gaiters but didn't need them on this well established trail with packed snow. The Bunny boots are absolutely warmer, while static or mobile, than any other boot I've ever owned, to included the same Muck boots you used in this review and my aging OG bunny boots. My wife, 16 yr old son and 19 yr old daughter all wore Danner/Mucks of various models and we plan on getting them AGC Bunny boots soon. Well done, nice video. Subbed.

@JosephTMeiroseIV Wow! Thank you for watching and commenting. I didn't go all out on the accessories for the boot because I was confident in how much I would use them. The spikes would be great. I need snow shoes to go hiking more in the mountains by my place. Thank you for subbing too.

@@timthetrailman4563 I almost didn't buy AGC ice spikes because I already had other sets. One of the sales ppl reminded me that the Bunny Boots profile is so much larger than any other boots and other spikes look the same but wouldn't accommodate the large toe box of the bunny boots. I tried stretching older sets over these boots and they don't fit over the toe box and won't set above the heel rubber notch at the same time. I wear size 14 regular boots. Something to consider, the bunny boots do NOT fit my in my size 36 Tubbs Mountaineer snowshoes, no matter how hard I stretch and pull. So it's Bunny boots with or without spikes, or other boots w/ snow shoes. Kinda a bummer. I may research a bit and see what they say as far as finding snow shoes that will accommodate Bunny boots. Perhaps the old military style ones, though I don't like them as much as new(er) snowshoes with all the additional features.

@JosephTMeiroseIV keep me posted on what you find. Post holing on Wickersham Dome was no fun with just the boot on. Definitely needed snow shoes
