Fabulous.
This video couldn’t have come at a better time. The past two weeks I have struggled with those lofty right misses with irons and it’s as if it came out of no where. Very frustrating but now I can take these ideas to the simulator this week. Thanks Jay!
Nice explanation of club face control. thank you!
For given grip move ball up or back in stance. Initial ball square to clubface direction.
Third possibility is to use toe-down or upright/downright positioning of the shaft respectively the clubhead. With a Loft as intendend this would adjust the lie-angle to the lebgth of your arm in Relation to the Body height.
In other words: toe-down ist a Position with your feet above the ball an the bottom of the Club parallel to the sideslope.
Angle of the shaft / lie angle
Raising and lowering the shaft
I would say the answer is controlling the club face direction by changing the hoola-hoop circle direction, which could be done by body tilt/twist.
That would effectively work, similar to aim I guess 🤔🤔 the answer that I was looking for though is dynamic lie. Changing where the loft points by having a raised or lowered handle at impact 👍🏻
@@AskGolfNut I was thinking, that if you tilt your spine more to the right, all other things being equal, you would add loft by hitting more up7less down (and slightly end up with face direction direction to the left) ?
Lowering or lifting hands would control direction more than loft, right?
@nielsaxelsson ah yes you are right with that, although that would come under the handle forward or back like the pendulum of the club 👍🏻
Lie angle, or put another way higher or lower hands at impact
Body rotation for the third way is my guess
Nope 😊 body rotation would influence 1 or both of the first 2. Have another go 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Getting lesson and practice practice and practice…
What was it that Tiger famously said.... Stop watching RUclips and start bashing balls... There is some logic to that unfortunately if those golfers have very poor swings technically then they'll just get fairly proficient and doing something wrong repeatedly. Tiger had a fortune of having a pretty sound swing technically 😊
I have no idea what the answer could be. I'm just waiting to hear it lol.
Edit: oh, could it be attack angle?
Not attack angle no, but your answer isn't far away......
Care to try again? 😊👍🏻
@AskGolfNut ulnar deviation and the opposite of it (I can't remember the name lol)? That's my only other guess haha. Excited to find out the answer!
@RunFreeRyan definitely chat about it in tonight Members Live Stream 👍🏻
Your video’s are always very informative and easy to understand, many thanks.
Path?,.,
😊 Nope, try again 😊 👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻
Hahaha! Lie adjustment?! Hand forward vs backward?!
And then you have that other guy (me), who is 7 inside and 7 closed, whos miss is the dreaded hook which goes 15 yards too far when the shoulder pulls round and the face goes to 18 closed. 8 turns into a 7. 😵💫
Wow now thats actually a quite impressive number to achieve especially as a stock swing. It'd be good for you to try and learn to make the biggest slice swing you possibly can to try and neutralise that delivery a touch 👍
Aye...the lie angle.
