Sir paano po pag may given din na effective interest rate. Bale 2 interest makikita sa problem ( stated at effective) alin po sa dalawa yung ikoconsider na original effective interest rate?

Sir, hindi na po ba iko-compute yung present value ng loan as of Jan. 1, 2019? Para makuha yung discount ng loan? Tsaka bakit po hanggang 2024, where in 5 years lang naman daw po. Hindi po ba dapat hanggang 2023 lang?

Hello Mary! Impairment loss ay 1.46M. Since unlikely na ang collection ng interest, hindi natin ipwede icredit ang buong 1.46M sa allowance.
Kaya sa impairment loss na 1.46M, yung 480K jan ay para sa interest receivable. Then ung balance na 980K, yun ang maccredit as allowance.

Paano po entry pag di inaccrued yung interest on a specific year? May changes po ba sa entry sir?

Possibe na no need to record the accrual of interest dahil impaired na rin naman yung loan. Hope it helps, aly 🫶
