The musical direction that Robbo's addition to Motorhead indicated, would have been a fascinating one. Its a shame it did not continue. He brought a different level of songwriting and musicality to the classic Motorhead sound.

Robbo didn't want to play any of motorheads previous songs ...so if he stood most likely ace of spades, overkill wouldn't have been great songs for fans to have heard and enjoy ...which that was one of lemmy problem with robbo he just didn't want to play motorheads music just another perfect day songs which the fans wanted to hear the classic motorhead songs which we all love till this day ...

Lemmy used to mess with Brian on stage letting the audience know he was using a guitar synthesizer. Also Brian used to dress in t shirt and shorts on stage. No the Motörhead look.

Almost 40 years ago to the day that I went to Another Perfect Tour, a sold out show at the Glasgow Apollo. What I remember from those days was that everyone very quickly dismissed the album as "synthesized guitars" (synthesizers were synonymous to treason among rock fans at the time, although no one ever explained what a synthesized guitar sounded like) and I'm sure that most of the people who dissed the album never even listened to it or only heard I Got Mine on the radio. The same thing happened just over a decade later when people slagged off Blaze Bayley's Iron Maiden albums without hearing them.
