@@FF-oo8nz Definitely they suffered without Clarke in many aspects of their business and in terms of camaraderie but the chemistry for making new music was excellent and the album they made is their masterpiece and the upgrade of Clarke era.
@@kosmetano couldnt disagree more. It was a huge downstep. They returned to their known quality with Orgasmatron (different guitarists), but this album is one of their most mediocre

Another Perfect Day is actually my fav Motorhead album, which probably puts me in a minority. They just tried to do things a bit different to what they had done before, & I give them full credit for that...I think Brian Robertson was an awesome guitarist & the solos he puts in on the album are some of the best you'll hear on any Motorhead album. Sadly, it just didn't work out with him & the band, & the rest, as they say, is history...
Second to that. I'm an old Motorhead fan since the beginning but imho they never surpassed the quality of Another Perfect day.
I agree with the Brian Robertson comments he was the best guitarist motorhead ever had technique wise but he wasn't the best motorhead guitarist Eddie Clarke was.

Philthy Animal Taylor was so good at the drums... will always be, fucking rock and roll legend, just like everyone that was in Motorhead.
Lemmy always kept the band a perfect running motor. Whoever played in the band, they were the perfect fit to be there at that time.

Another Perfect Day has been (and still is?) such a misunderstood Mötörhead gem… Definitely belongs with the "classic era" from that band! And listen to that beautiful song, Brian Robertson is doing fanstastic job here …. I could listen this a million times. Just wish he did more stuff with Lemmy and Philty! But such is life...

I was just buying some chemicals for lawn care and then I said you know I got a one-track mind and then all of a sudden I said man that's a great song by the way by Motorhead I do just got to listen to it loud you can't listen to it on your cell phone dude so I immediately pulled it up and cranked it out I just love this song I love the way the guitar player put those extra notes in there that don't mess with the song they just really enhance it it's just one heck of a dang good ride and I just love that Kick-Ass attitude leave work that he played it somewhere between Lynyrd Skynyrd and Ted Nugent
