Ok some people in the commetns are confused about the origin of this melody so let me clear things up:
The original songs are: Isaac Hayes-Ike's Rap2 (1988) and Wallace Collection-Daydream (1969) (these two songs are comletely different)
Portishead-Glorybox (1994) was created by fusing the instrumental of ikes rap2 and the bassline of daydream.
All the singers afterwards only used the instrumental from Ike's Rap: Tricky-Hell is around the corner (2013), Alessia Cara - Here (2015), Snoh Allegra-Nothing burns like cold(2017)
Lana del rey also has some songs that sound similar to this (Money pwer Glory and The man i love) but she didnt directly sample it maybe she was only nspired by it
My personal fave is tricky's song, but all of them are good so no need to argue. However i think this instrumental has been overused at this point so i wouldnt like to hear it again on more songs
