      YES! Morning routines done apart from dress to shoes as I struggle with this anyway plus not feeling very well so admit I’m wearing pyjamas today (fresh ones though !)

      Thanks, Diane thanks to your vlogs the condo isn't a disaster, but have noticed I am lacking consistency with routines. Going to sharpen up the morning routine this week and make it t a goal for evening routines next week. Progress, not perfection. ❤

      Things sneak into my morning routine and stay there taking up time until I make an effort to delete/reduce them - like reading with a coffee for a few minutes before I do anything else. Within days it becomes more than one cup of coffee and more than a few minutes of reading and no time to walk the dog or do laundry!

    Hi Diane, most of my routines are done in the evening- I am a full time health worker in Australia. You have helped me build routines- sink is cleaned/ dishes done at night, clothes laid out for the next day. My lunch and cat’s meat organised, bag packed and organised at night and ready by the door. I am not a morning person. I try to keep my floors vac-Ed/ mopped, do a lol every 2-3 days. I struggle with decluttering. I am untidy….Love your channel

    My morning routine is complete….dressed to shoes, dinner planned, breakfast, meds and Bible Study completed.

    I wish I could convince people how quick and helpful these routines are…if they are skeptical I would say give it a monthlong try! And rah-rah-rah, you can do it!🎉❤

      Sceptical aboute the evening Routine. I habe two little wild boys and back Problems. My kitchen sink is not clean in the evening because I fall asleep with them 😂

      @@jacquelinegiesbrecht5801 I think you are in a strenuous stage in life, and I feel for you. I would probably be skeptical as well. I agree with Diane that you make it your own and something is better than nothing. The sink part seems to have a lot to do with starting the next day off fresh. Wondering how this can work in your situation. We stopped (as much as possible) having so many post dinner chores because evening routines can be a kicker. TRYING to sit down to dinner with the kitchen straight (full disclosure: that was an epic fail last night, but we keep moving ahead!)

    Whohooo! I am in!!! I have been wanting to consistantly stick to morning and evening routines for sooooo long, but had this perfect idea in my head that those routines are only valid if they involve a ton of sports, journaling, mindfulness practice, walking outside, meal prepping the entire day and so on and so forth.... No wonder I felt overwhelmed and did not even give myself credit for the little things I did well.
    This ends today. I will value progress over perfection and will practice consistancy.

    So in! Tea, breakfast, tidy bathroom, dressed, know what’s for dinner ✅ A morning lol is a favorite but didn’t have enough to wash today :) Picking just two or three tasks is wise for the wonderful new participants. This 3-day challenge is 🤩 Thank you 💕🦉
    Evening routine report ~ dinner, prepped Tuesday lunch, cleanup from dinner, prepped for breakfast, clothes and items ready for tomorrow departure, in bed by a good time 🦋♥️

    YES! I'm in! After a busy weekend - 12 for hubby's birthday dinner Saturday and family Brunch on Sunday. I'm back to my Morning Routine:
    *Turn on electric kettle
    *Start LOL
    *While tea steeps; unload dishwasher
    *Drink Tea
    *Shower, Hair, and Makeup: Dressed for Day
    *Swish and Swipe
    One of the things I'm constantly asked about new house is 'How are you keeping it clean? Especially the bathrooms'. I'm always tell people it's Routines. ESPECIALLY the Swish And Swipe.
    I watched while doing my makeup. And I'm dressed for the day. Dressed for Day is one I struggle with. Especially on chilly mornings. It's my focus for this Challenge.

    I'm in! The main thing I struggle with is getting dressed! I know that sounds funny. I'm retired and some days (really only bad weather days) I don't leave the house. But other days I do at least get out and walk, so I do have to get dressed at some point. I am going to be consistent with getting dressed as one of the first things I do. Probably right after making the bed and starting the laundry.

    As always, starting my week with Diane is a little sparkly burst of sunshine every Monday! Your comment that my routine doesn’t have to be like that of other people is a benison, as I am (temporarily, I hope) low on stamina. Your calm, simplified routines carry me along through my day.     Heading out for errands. Bed is made. Chicken is thawing out for fajitas for dinner. At my age, I do the more tiring things first!

    My routines work perfectly well for me. Morning and evening. It feels so great to just to switch on the coffeemachine when i get up. Grab a cup, my blanket and go out in the garden to listen to the birds for 10 minutes. Love it!!!!!!!

    Good morning on this sunny morning in the US! I am here and ready to get on back to my morning and evening routines. My morning routine is finished and I am getting ready to start my day now. Woo hoo!! I think I was trying to do too much and I felt overwhelmed trying to do it all each and every morning, especially because I am not a morning person at all.     Progress, not perfection…such a good mantra. I had company over the weekend and with my new habits, I found that I wasn’t frantically running around last minute…the house was in pretty good order already!

    I am in! I definitely need a reset. I’m going to work on doing routines with a timer. I’m happy that I already know what’s for dinner tonight. When I get home from work I’m going to work on 10 minutes of pupa and 10 minutes of declutter in the room I’m trying to clean out.

    I’m in. Evening routine is what I’m going to work on. I am a retired widow and I have a bad habit of not cleaning up the kitchen before bed. I know I will feel so much better if I can wake up to a clean kitchen! That’s my goal!

    I've been restarting my morning routine recently, and it's going well! Get the kids to school, 10 min kitchen clean-up incl. running the Roomba and a quick wall scrub and getting hand-wash dishes soaking, then 15 min declutter/tidy in the Flylady zone, then morning coffee while I write, then a 3 min. bathroom clean, then getting a LOL going, then physical therapy exercises, and then it's time for lunch! Sticking to an evening routine is way way harder for me. Maybe I'll start with just 1 thing.

    I am here! I finished my morning routine of loading the dishwasher, loading the washing machine, and getting dressed to shoes. I hate laceup shoes though because I think they're ugly, so I have a pair of dressy flats that I wear around the house. When I put them on, I know it's time to work. 😄

    Even if I slip with my routines, I always remember you saying, "Start where you're at". Trying to make myself getting to bed at least one hour earlier

    I’m in! Started the day (as ROUTINE 😊) making bed, scanning upstairs for anything that needs to go down, dressed for exercise, put away dishes, take meds and plan for dinner. Today I also worked out my plan for the week, usually done Sunday afternoon or evening.

    Today your words "You don't need to want to do it - you just need to do it" hit home. I HATE taking the rubbish to the outside bins... I wait until I am 'buoyant' enough to get it done and then I LOVE IT. So Now I'm switching out my thinking - I'm not going to wait - I'm going to do it every other day regardless and enjoy an empty/half empty kitchen bin (the other litter bins don't worry me as they don't smell!) I'm in by the way!

    I have been doing the morning and evening routines for several years now. Even if I have only time to do these two things, I feel that I am organized and our home is presentable, neat and clean. Knowing what we are having for meals and what to wear simplifies my day and helps us eat healthier meals and look more together each day. Thank you, Diane!

      Me too, think I might think of it as late afternoon routine, get some hot water in the sink and get the dinner prep dishes done immediately...maybe stretching out the dinner prep so it's not all at once..

    I’m in! I will absolutely be focusing on my evening routine. I’m on a weight loss journey, and evenings are very tough for me as far as food is concerned, but I think having something else to focus on will be very helpful.

    Always consistant with morning and evening routines as it makes life so much simpler. Bed made, 2 lol's completed, 5 1/2 mile finished, lunch then power hour. The day goes by so quickly, I don’t know if it is an age thing that happens as you get older, time just seems to fly by.

    Traveling when the challenge started. Now back home and love the idea of a reset especially for spring! Reworked my 3 tasks for AM and PM. Like several others I’m very tired by the end of the day. So I’ve renamed the PM routine as my Afternoon Routine and start on it earlier. This has helped me. Thank you as always Diane you rock!!!

    On the downside I've been so busy this week that I didn't have time to watch this till Tuesday. On the upside I'm in and began with getting dressed in the morning on Saturday and have done that for four days (Saturday Tuesday). That has been a real struggle for me recently and I'm glad to have this motivation👍😊

    I’m in! I already have a morning routine which includes walking the dog for an hour, feeding the dog, turning on the coffee and then cleaning up the kitchen and putting kitchen things away. Then I do Centering Prayer for 40 minutes or so. So my challenge is to take my meds, take a shower and get dressed. My evening challenge will be to get things prepared for the dog walk (find phone, get bags, treats, etc.). Thanks, Diane!

    I'm in! My lol is the sheets. I do them every Monday. I'm also doing a pupa in the living room. The evening routine will include making and cleaning up from dinner. I will shine my sink and read a book. Thank you Diane for your encouragement!

    I call my daily routine my daily 5 - LOL, vacuum, dishes, make bed, PUPA. Works well for me.
    Don't like to vacuum daily but we have a shedding dog - lol

    I am in. Need to get back to my routines. Since retirement it seems everything went out the window. When my husband just sits around and is no longer out working makes a big difference!

      I'm with you on only checking in once a day. I actually disable RUclips from Monday to Friday, but allow myself the luxury to watch Diane's video through my email link.
