Did you know that in Robin Hood...
To save budget for the animation, Disney decided to reuse that same animation from previous artworks such as Snow White, Aristocats and The Jungle Book

Yeah because at the time animation costs a lot more than now, so reusing assists helps a lot with the budget so why not use those old cells to make new animation?
Because it is derivative and cheap.
@@grantkerr8298disney was almost close because of no money by the time... And robin hood actually became one their better movies story wise because almost all of the budfet went there
@@AzoiatheCobra We all would have benefited from them going bankrupt

Said the loser who has never ever animated a thing in his life 🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓
Its crazy because it all worked out. No one ever cared or noticed because the stories were so endearing.
I gotta say i dont give f@ck, Robin Hood is and Will always be a masterpiece.
Even if they reused some animation.
How did the recycling process work? Did they just trace and edit the old cells?
Pretty much, it does help save time and money since animation takes a long time to make. Personally I don't mind cuz it's like a cute little easter egg for me seeing something familiar from other Disney movies.
It was proven that it didn’t save time or cost, they were just being lazy
Disney disco seht super 👌 aus
hey, it works because I'm now 34 and just realise this
And yet Robin Hood is one of my favourites.
Yes. It's also a nod to some other great Disney movies. 😊
I’ve heard that it wasn’t to save money for the animation. It was to ensure that the movie was completed on time.
OMG!!! From the movies I used 2 watch alot when I was lil are Robin hood and the Aristocats, And I remember how I ALWAYS rewatched the scene when Robin hood was dancing and I was like, "HOW THE FREAK R THOSE THE SAME DANCE MOVES AS THE ARISTOCATS??!!!! 😳😳😳😳", I even thought that maybe those were Traditional dance moves 4 ppl at the past or something 🧐🧐...But now I know y so thx alot 4 telling us about this fact 😉😊
This is trippy but cool. Being able to recycle old animations to make something new, done in such a way that if nobody said anything I would've never noticed.
still the best classic disney movie hands down
Bro. This video just blew my mind!
This is literally common than you think. Animation studios do this recycling scenes even in Anime r cartoons They Also do that because it's cost effective and very quick and easy.
That was pure genius in my opinion
You don't think that this could be laziness?
@@kacmac2340 there’s a difference between being lazy and being smart
This was common back then
At least they didn't actively disrespect their fanbase
Not in just this film. They had animation pallets with smooth animations that they often traced over and added details on
Robin Hood is a seamless nod to previous favorites and they did very well 👌 besides I love this version of Robin Hood!
Although Disney isn't exact the only studio to redraw and recycle animation.
Never noticed so they pulled it off. Great movie!
Baloo and Little John are Jake's shoolmates
Never in a thousand years would I have thought this😂
Still pretty neat :3
Holy crap! I can’t believe that I didn’t notice this because I’ve watched all 3 Robin Hood, Jungle Book and The Aristocats numerous times. 😳
Does anyone realize this movie released on Disney's 50th anniversary?
As a child I had the other three also on dvd so ofcourse i recognized the similarity but honestly I didn’t care
They used the same "rigs" not same animation.
Is it considered cheap to use the same animation from their previous works?
God I miss this they were not after the Jew money compare to today
I feel so cheated... ughhhh
I've never really noticed that after so many years Lol
Didn't Robot Chicken do a skit on this?
As some movies dare to use the same actors. Like that?
We were kids; we didn't care.
I still think it’s cool
Maid Marian's tail
Disney mashup
Smart!
Clever
Wow.
When I first saw Robin Hood on DVD I always wondered why some scenes looked so familiar (mostly scenes from Jungle Book)
Huh
Never noticed and I LOOOOOOVED Robin Hood 🥰🥰
My favorite animated movie ever, still in my top ten favorites of all time ❤
it also ties all the movies together in a kid's mind...
How many times are people going to point this out we get it already
That’s awesome😀👍🏿
Very nice 🙂.
I sure do.
Robin Hood looks like a fox version of Peter pan
you know what’s even cheaper, Flash animation and it at least has some originality
