- Khehla Manjoro claims that being a Christian doesn't mean you can not participate in the veneration of ancestors. As a former catholic she believes that these world views are compatible with each other and the sacraments used in the Anglican church and the Catholic church are the same in concept as the use of incense in African Spirituality.
Pastor Afrika debunks this notion. Using some biblical and philosophical arguments.

If it is so hard to have Jesus as our Lord and Savior, then identifying ourselves as "Christians " is a misconception. Jesus Christ is a whole package of what humanity needs.Having him as Lord means ALL needs are taken care of.If you find yourself still in need,you have not given your whole life to him.He is God incarnate and can never be compared even to my own ancestors.
How can people serve two masters.It can't be God and dead people.Only Jesus is our mediator not ancestors people perish because of lack of knowledge
I'd actually seen this episode and tuned out halfway cos of all the misunderstanding of the Bible. It's really so sad, cos many believe these ppl.
But we are also living in such a beautiful time in that these ppl are also self exposing their lack of knowledge.
Most Christians are also confused because even the bible that they are quoting from is not the true word of the Almighty.

Roman Catholic Church brought so much confusion to the people about the way of God and they carefully introduced them to the ways of Satan on purpose because they are the tares that Yahusha spoke about. Many of our church denominations today are still following some RCC's pagan ways like pagan holidays such as Christmas, Easter, Valentines etc. These pagan holidays did not start in Rome but in ancient Babylon of Nimrod the first pagan ruler who created the satanic system of governence that we have today. This spread from Babylon, Egypt and other encient world dominating civilizations such as Syria, Greece and also Rome which happened to mixed these pagan rituals with the way of God under Roman Catholic Church.

People who say they worship God and their ancestors have not met the God of the bible i.e. they are not born again. They are just straggling between two belief systems one of which is the christian religion. Until people know that our God is a relational and personal God, we will continue to have such people who think their ancestor are the mediators between them and God contrary to what the bible says that there's only one mediator between God and man i.e. Jesus Christ, not even the pastor. At some point as Bantu people we need to learn to use our power of discernment accurately in spirit and not religiously because you will miss the gems of some of the esoteric knowledge that is being passed by many of the platforms. Wake up, and be bold to discern and interpret ancient texts spiritually and not religiously. There are many accounts in the Bible were ancestral veneration and rituals were performed and being butchered contextually and symbolically by the religious interpretations.
Which religious interpretations?

@@B4Africa I believe Jesus was the prophet of the people of Israel exactly how Shembe was the prophet of the Zulu people. He was never God but a prophet pf God who was sent to deliver the people of Israel. We as African people must return to our beliefs before colonialists came and established missionaries and enforcing their beliefs on us.
I believe God was never in any way a human form like colonialists made us to believe.
