As a Christian, it is important to understand the distinction between ancestral worship and honoring our ancestors. Ancestral worship involves the belief and practice of worshipping and making offerings to deceased ancestors as if they were gods or deities. This practice is not in accordance with biblical teachings, as worship is reserved for God alone (Exodus 20:3).
On the other hand, honoring our ancestors in a way that is consistent with biblical principles is acceptable. We should honor and respect the memory of our ancestors, give thanks for their lives, and acknowledge their contributions to our family history and cultural heritage. However, we should not give them undue veneration that borders on idolatry or occult practices.
In summary, the Bible teaches us to honor our ancestors, but not to engage in ancestral worship or veneration of the dead. Our focus should be on God alone and the worship and reverence due to Him.

If you haven't started reading any of his books please do, all of them.
And have the bible when you read them you will never hear the word of God the same.

This sound like the devil can be powerful like God if Mr Africa says people who pray to ancestors are getting what they want. How could this be. My understanding was that there is no god powerful than the powerful heavenly God. Is this debate academic or practical experiences of those who pray their ancestors?

    1. One person asked me that "are you saying I should forget about my parents now that they're dead"?
    2. Another one said "you Christians think you better but we all the same because you worship Jesus who also died"
    Please help on these statements
