Tissue Doppler Imaging in Low Risk Chest Pain Patients

How to use TDI to assess for impaired relaxation, which precedes systolic dysfunction (RWMA) and ECG findings in patients with ischemic chest pain. Potential to reduce cost and ED length of stay with use of TDI for patients with low risk chest pain.

Some recommends to measure e` at the fusion of both waves of e` not at the tip of e`
If we measure at tip and at fusion of two waves measurements will differ

As far as the measurements in TDI are on the E ' wave , why in patients with AF we cannot assess the diastolic function ?
