As they say, it is one thing to buy it and another to keep it. The 570s Spider is a phenomenal car. The total cost of ownership is high, so if you do not have an extended warranty on that rocket, go to McLaren, get the car certified, and pay the $4,000 per year. One major part replacement can cost you 6 times that amount. The 570s has a 30% modified P1 engine. The car delivers 625 hp to the crank and 533 hp to the wheels. McLaren grossly understates the hp. The car will run a 2.7 on standard P Zeros, runs the quarter in 10.1, and achieved a terminal velocity of 207 mph in around 50. Congrats and safe driving! BTW: A nicely equipped 2020 HDK (High Downforce Kit--MSO Carbon Fiber Wing and Front Undercarriage Guide Vanes) 570s Spider with PPF and Ceramic--$270,000.
Yes you're absolutely right! Being a 2018, it has factory 3-year warranty until 2021, and I have paid around $3000 to extend it another year, but so far I've had zero major issues, just the small stuff I've mentioned in the video

It's because the actual corporate Mclaren production company is garbage 🗑. They could still get their act together and pull through but it's not looking good 😕.
I rented a black 2019 570S Spider for 24 hours through Turo. Overall, I loved the car but after 20 minutes on the highway, my lower back was killing me. Granted I am a lot older than you but I have also rented a 202 Porsche 911 4S Cabriolet and some other high end cars, including the BMW i8 and Jaguar F-Sport and none had a driver's seat that was this painful. Maybe some have optional seats that are better in this regard. The only potential quality issue I noticed was a knocking noise coming from behind the passenger seat. I looked around but couldn't find its source.
You can work your way up to a car like this start with bmw go to Porsche then get a r8 after that keep moving up its a long process but works if you only make 5k to 6k a month
This is definitely a take that I've seen before, and one that I kind of ended up taking, as I bought a BMW i8 first, then bought the McLaren. However, the opposite side of this argument is that every time you buy and sell a car, you will lose a bit of value, in my state (California), it's almost 10% just from sales tax, so that's also something to keep in mind. If I had just waited and saved to buy the McLaren, I maybe would have saved like $20k total? But obviously I wouldn't have had an i8 to drive for 2 years
I've been looking around for a 570s or huracan but the car market right now is crazy high. You got a steal on this car, especially on the spider. I don't know if you still own this car but what's your next plan for a car? Have you looked into the huracan or even the 720s? Any problems with the car since?
Yeah the car market is super hot right now. I sold the car because I wanted to cash in, but I had absolutely no issues with it in the time that I had it.
