I realized after making this video that the Griot's Foam-On Wax product I first filled the sprayer with was not actually a wash solution. It's a wax and drying aid that's designed for the sprayer. That makes a bit more sense. I'm interested to see if a Griot's wash would make more foam than the Gold Class.
Good video... Your mannerism displaying your disappointment is very hilarious 😄😁🤣.... Especially when you said "well folks" and your shoulders dropped 😄😁🤣
I just bought the foam gun and the soap designed for it and it works for me . looks like you have weak water pressure and that will cause it to not produce foam as it is designed to do .
I use about 3-4 oz of griots brilliant soap or the same amount of the gold class and fill with water up to the 32oz line and I get very thick foam. Obviously it’s not as dry thick as a foam cannon but it’s definitely thicker than what was coming out of yours. I saw your other comment about hard water and that may be the issue for you. Don’t be discouraged though it works pretty well. I think it’s worth the $40 bucks for it verses the alternative of needing a pressure washer and a foam cannon.
Wonder if you will get more foam/ thicker foam with a tank full of soap vs the Diluted ratio. Like perhaps use blue coral car wash (3.88 for 100 oz at walmart). Cheap but is actually really good car wash.
That is an interesting idea and if you were to use an inexpensive soap like you mentioned it could make sense. The foamer completely empties going around the car one time. So if I were to use Meg's gold class like that it would cost $5 to foam the car down.
hardness is a variable in water chemistry that has a huge affect on suds. Soft water easily makes suds, where hard water doesn't as much. I happen to have a lot of metals and minerals in my well water ( hard ). I wonder if maybe you have soft water and that's why the difference in foam.
First of all, you tried washing your car with a wax first, not soap. I use the foam wax in a pressure washer & it has tons of foam, but I don’t use it to wash it. 😂

Was literally going to buy all of this stuff before watching the video. Thank you
You're welcome. I think out of all of it, the blower was definitely the biggest disappointment.

Can you adjust the foam gun so that it fans out, instead of a stream of water, like other foamers?
The key to foam sprayers is the ratio of soap and water.
what would you say the best ratio would be? I have the same sprayer and chemical guys foaming soap
Full to the top
I used the Griot’s and got better foam than that with the Maguair’s Gold shampoo.

Griots “foam wax “ is
Not a soap...... you need to wash and rinse first then apply the Foam wax..........is a great result
Absolutely right. That's why I pinned my comment explaining exactly that.

You are correct. I actually pinned a comment explaining that. How do you like the product using it the right way?
If you read it will said “foam on Wax” find iut it
