I don't feel sorry for Eva and this is why. She admitted she knew he is the kind of person who would lie to get out of something he did wrong. So, she already knew what he was about BEFORE she married him. Ladies. If you marry a bad boy, a liar, a cheat, don't cry when they still do what they did before you got married. While I am not saying people cannot change, what I am saying is that, if you marry them anyway thinking they will change or you can change them, that is the risk YOU are accepting and you should not burden anyone with the results of taking such a risk. And for those of you white knighters crying, "Why are you blaming Eva?" It is because just by listening to him, he sounds like an a-hole. And if this is he is normally with people, I am sure he is like this with her. And was like this with her before she chose to entangle herself with him. This does not mean he has the right to do what he did or behave the way he does. But, you can't get mad at a wild predator who devours a human being thinking they could come up and pet it and cuddle it. She knew who and what he was and chose to pet and cuddle this wild lion.

While I agree with most of what you said, I just want to add one thing. There are Marc that are incredibly adept at playing Prince charming for a while. Until they sink their hooks into a kind, needy, nurturing person. Then it's a one eighty. Sure, there is always signs but normal people don't identify or recognize that brand of crazy. Until it's too late. Usually after kids are born, money is spent, and family is isolated. Run, don't walk, to the nearest exit.
