Introduction and the translation you chose are also brilliant. Thank you for it, again.

Lovely, creative recitation and just beautiful illustrations. This song has been my absolute favourite since my early 30s, I find its fragments scatterred in all sorts of texts, it has an incredible overlap. Thank you! God bless!

Thank you for this! The deep, gravelly voice really sells it.
(Illustrations apt as well-particularly the cute cat imagery, as noted below.)

I came here from Jeremy Irons' version. I like your voice. I've got a feeling I've heard you reading Bukowski... or maybe that was Tom O'Bedlam.

Thanks for listening Cliff... I love Bukowski... I'll have to give that a try... right now working on some Mark Twain.

    I fucking love this!
Am a devoted Eliot fan. I was an engineering student in 1996 when my RA posted this inside a bathroom stall in my dorm. Memorized tons of his work as a salve for my teen angst after that. Will always love it.

I enjoyed your reading greatly, which was well sponsored by Mr. Peter's wonderful art.
For a challenge, try "The Hangman" by Maurice Ogden. This is not a pleasant work, but has virtue as a forewarning against moral indifference.

Good idea Steve... love the work but it may be difficult to top Mr. Bernardi's rendition.... but I am tempted to try... ha. Best always, Joe
