Great brewing day, very good video too. I always brewed with three brew kettles, this was getting too heavy for me. After watching your video I also bought a grainfather G70 today. Thanks for this, greetings from Belgium Dany
Hey Dany, thanks a million for the comments and great to hear you purchased a G70 unit! We're actually filming a second G70 video this Saturday and doing a NEIPA split into 3 separate batches so really looking forward to that! Keep me posted on how you get on with the G70. BTW what part of Belgium are ya from? Cheers, Glen 🍻👍

Another fantastic video, cheers for sharing. Just finished conditioning a chocolate stout that is beautiful. I also have a SMaSH pilsner fresh in the bottle. I put that together using Vienna Pilsner malts and some mystery hops my supplier sent in error in with the stout recipe but said I could keep. Tasting very nice before I even bottled it. I'm not long into all grain brewing but it really is next level in terms of hands on, enjoyment and most importantly, flavour!!!
Well, those beers didnt last long! Absolutely delightful. Well chuffed!! I did have some problems with using my plastic keg leaking 3 days in to secondary meaning I had to lift the pressure and transfer in to bottles with the chocolate stout. Really affected the carbonation but it worked out ok in the end. The plastic keg now takes pride in the bottom corner of my garage. It's let me down twice now. Gonna do another stout and stick it straight in to bottles. Can I ask, what are your views on stainless steel fermenters? I'm thinking of investing as I like the idea of taking plastic out of my main setup.
@@chickenparmo Hey Rick, brilliant and many thanks for the update. I absolutely do recommend stainless fermenters if affordable as they're far superior over plastic for a number of reasons.. The Grainfather Conical fermenter is awesome too as it has the dual valve which allows me to do a yeast jump every few days. My beer has tasted really good since going all stainless steel and I've also setup a closed transfer to keg minimising 02 contact. Keep me posted. Cheers, Glen 🍺🌞
