In contrast, people don't get to deduct any operating expenses. That's not accounting for the amount of money corps squirrel away in foreign tax havens. Not to mention, every single one of these corps get massive government contracts of extremely dubious value to the tax payer. Quite literally, companies pay next to no tax.

I work as a hardware engineer, and I love it. Centralizing efficient use of power makes things easier and more efficient for most people. Honestly there are too many bullshit jobs that nobody but those who work at them (and arguably not even them) will miss.
Oh it's not gonna stop it will speed up change. On my country it's expected that by 2035 about 80% people in it will loose job to ai and about 40% in various other fields. Even my local IRS is already using ai and training custom models to replace people so good luck to everyone.
