Dungeon Master & Wizardry 6 are technically both Dungeon Meshi games since those are the games that inspired it's author.

One thing about Phantom Breaker. It isn't available anymore, the game was delisted in march of this year. It's gonna have an improved version, but it's not available until february 2025
Yea. That sucks the company removed it. I understand they are making a newer one but let folks buy the older version. That company takes an L
Daemon X Machina is basically Armored Core for Switch players. (Not saying in negative way. I own it on switch and will eventually play it).
It's well worth it!
Eventually lol. I know exactly how that song goes. My backlog could keep me going till the end of time. I must have at least 500 switch games
@@gunsharck I understand what you are saying, and it is true for the most part. But this year I've played so many games from my backlog. For example, I've beaten Asura Wrarth that was sitting on my backlog for like 10 years.
Monster Menu by the Disgaea devs is a roguelike rpg thats clearly inspired by Delicious in Dungeon. Not amazing, but had a good time with the demo on Switch and felt very overlooked.
I picked up Golden Force last week physically for $16 from my local game store. I’m loving it - one of the best retro style platformers I’ve played on the system. And such great pixel art. Feels like a mix of arcade beat em up and platformer - the blood and coins exploding from everywhere feels great.
I wonder what didn’t click with people? It’s certainly difficult but not nearly as difficult as some actual retro games. I did clip into a wall once so maybe it’s a little janky but I thought it ran great on the switch in 2024 (heard it was a little rough on release).
You got a great deal if it was complete in the box. I'm seeing it for around $50 complete on ebay. Never even knew this game existed, but now I'm interested!

Fading Afternoon and Ganryu 2 look right up my alley. Definitely going to need to get those soon! The Switch has an insane library that I’m still trying to keep up with 😂. Another excellent episode!

Golden Force looks fun! I might have to give it a try! I was interested in Harvestella but I never got around to playing it.Was kind of hoping for more character customization features tbh. Ganryu 2 also looks fun, reminds me of Shinobi. Funnily enough, I have my eye on Phantom Breaker lol but on Steam.
Daemon X Machina is one of the games that got me interested in the Switch
Yo Daemon X Machina is really good. I have it on PC cuz Epic Games gave it away sometime ago. its so fun!

Hello I just subscribed to your channel! really loving the content man! oh and btw I love that you keep the name of the games on the screen more channels need to do that! anyway I am wondering since you know so many great games and hidden gems with the upcoming game (mika and the witch's mountain) that has a Wind Waker art style vibe to it would you happen to know any other games that are similar to that art style and gameplay? I am also looking for any island travel/exploration snes/sf RPGs or survival type games?
I’ve been watching you for weeks now, every video you do is amazing, my favourites are the graphically impressive ones, doesn’t matter the console or generation for me. But the point of my comment is, why don’t you use time stamps/ chapters for the videos

I have a Switch OLED and Switch V2 and honestly I'm just waiting till someone finds out a way to soft mod both models. I play all my Switch games on pc for better performance and visuals 😂
You play Zone of Enders on PS2? X Machina looks more like that.

Regarding Fading Afternoon. Each one of the YEO games: Friends of Ringo Ishikawa, Fading Afternoon, Arrest of Stone Buddha is great. You should try them.

So much fun, especially in co op!
The only interesting games (for me) in this video are 2 that i also own (but have yet to play) : Harvestella and Daemon X Machina
phantom breaker battle is not available in the USA e-shop... :S
I played through the campaign for Daemon X Machina when it was being promoted through the 7-day free trial for NSO users.
It was okay, the story wasn’t anything to praise about. But the combat, controls and customization were the highlights of the game, also the Cel-shaded graphical design choice.
On another note….I’ve been having a blast playing through Megaton Musashi W: wired on switch.
It definitely ticks all of the boxes for me of a niche mecha action rpg that’s so much better compared to Daemon X Machina on the switch.
I have Ganryu but by gum I am awful at it

Rose and camellia was a webflash game of the 2000s remade for the switch and nobody talks bout it. Even tho is like 15usd for the 5 bundle game. And dont make me start with astral chain
I’m not gonna lie I own demon ex machina. It’s an OK game but you know it’s kind of weird in my opinion.
The demo for Ganryu 2 had horribly input lag. Was this fixed or is it still laggy?

Bot Vice is great. Enjoy it. As the video said, there is a learning curve, but it did click for me at some point. Very challenging but exciting as well.
The Bot Vice developer has a few other games on Switch, including Strikey Sisters. But Bot Vice is my favorite of theirs.

Not for nothing, but the name "Saga Scarlet Grace Ambition" may be one of the most generic titles I've heard in a while that just sounds like they slapped 4 random words together.

I'd recommend checking the closing audio bite you're using right know. I know you can reuse them, but your last 2 videos end with "a promise for part 2", even though the DS rpgs was already the second entry.
Just a heads up to everyone, none of these games appear to be Switch exclusives, and all seem to be available on Steam, which often offers games rather cheap. While buying for the Switch includes their Nintendo tax and much poorer performance for the extra cost, and yes this is portable, but so is the Steam Deck(and many other devices that run PC games).

@@lordeowstheking Ummmm, "Switch Games Nobody Talks About" implies all these games are only for the Switch, as otherwise, why mention the Switch exclusively? As all these games are offered in more places than just on the Switch, so a better title would have been multi-platform games nobody talks about.

@@joelchrono That is very true as well, good point, I personally didn't see it that way, but someone else very well could have. But my original comment was only meant to tell others who may have thought these games were only on the Switch, that there are other options(probably cheaper, as well as better performance as well).

word of advice: if all games you're featuring are also on Steam, title the video "Switch *AND STEAM* games nobody talks about".
on that note, had you released this video a week and a half earlier, it would have coincided with the Steam summer sale.
