- Reviving a long gone era of the NYC subway using OpenBVE, a simple train simulator game...
Starting off this winter with a special virtual railfanning video! This time we're going back to the year 1991 on the (F) line, a unique year on the line since the unrebuilt R46s could be seen operating among the freshly rebuilt ones as we're right in the middle of their GOH program. Both Phase I and II R32s could also be seen running on the line. Around that time, the Culver line was undergoing reconstruction which resulted in some of the track sections being closed hence trains using the middle track in one direction. This suspended the express service on McDonald Avenue which never came back since.
Train models built by me.

a meaning of a masterpiece
I love how you combine the different phases of the R46's and R32's in 1991. Just as I had witnessed it in real time in 1991.
@Bread And Circuses I was 11 years old at the time. I use to live near by the Coney Island Yards at the time. Half the R46's still had the blue stripes on the side, while the other half were taken off and the roll signs replaced with the LED signs. It was an awesome sight to have witnessed.
Holy wow! The ambience, the detail, everything is just… unbelievably crisp and detailed! 👍
I’m glad you actually have the Post-GOH R46s in their original fleet numbers as those weren’t changed until April 1994.
As a New Yorker who has ridden the NYC subway thousands of times, you will never see beautiful city lights in the background as shown in your video. Tall buildings hide those escapes in real life. But I love your beautiful city lights background!. I say keep it. Imagine the Bronx without tall buildings.
Wow i am speechless you make this routes so releastic Keep the great work!
That Was Spectacular !!!!! The opening scene with Brooklyn thru the snow and the Verrazzano shimmering in the distance was only a hint of what was to come. The sounds of The City, the arcing wet 3rd rail shoes and rails was icing on the cake!!!!! Keep up the amazing work!!!!!
It’s snowing by me right now, and if I was watching this while standing outside in the snow I’d think I was really on that platform!!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍
LOVE! Great work as always! I remember those break sounds as a kid, I always wondered if it was my imagination haha since the breaks never sounded like that again, that shewwww sound when the R46 pre goh is leaving, awesome nostalgia moment. Keep up the great work!
that R46 - GOH is fire ngl, but nice video, I enjoyed the amount of work and realism you put
Youre always surprising me with how good you are able to make things look good. Nice job!

Im new to OpenBVE and Im completely blown away. any new projects that you're working on that will be released? Also is there a way for those of us that love your work to be able to contribute? thanks!
they're working on a lot of stuff but until all of it is finished we'll never get anything but showcases
godly
Wow, so freakin' nice! I love your work, content and how you continue making masterpiece products after some sh*t in USA community.
P.s. One question about some camshaft trains: Why they're (Post-GOH) much slower than before (Pre-GOH)? MTA delete the "Weakfield" serie on electric scheme or what?
The Post-GOH trains were still fast until the mid 1990s following the Williamsburg Bridge wreck, that's when they weakened the motors
Open BVE is finally looking nice.
