  • A CFD-based Aerodynamic Simulation of a Honda Civic EP3 Type-R. I am slowly building a Honda Civic EP3 track car and have been doing some research on aerodynamics, body work, and many other questions!
    This simulation was generated using Flowsquare+, a very approachable piece of CFD software written by Yuki Minamoto and Hirotaka Cooper. I highly recommend checking it out if you're new to CFD like I am and interested in playing around or learning more!

    Stage Size: 9m x 4.5m
    EP3 Length: 4140mm (Per Encycarpedia)
    Inflow Velocity (Wind Speed): 20m/s (72km/h, ~45mph)
    Simulation Length: 15000 steps
    Each frame is 20 steps, rendered at 60fps (1200 steps/second)
