Never heard of Slim until this year when I saw a family in Nashville do one of his songs. Too bad he never got to the U.S. He would have been a smash in Texas and Louisiana. Much of his music sounds "Cagin'" which they love down there. The French Family Band in Nashville does shows out of their house. Wonderful band!
