But yeah, it's impossible to find a match within a reasonable timeframe, at least when you're in the highest ranks. I don't know how different the situation may or may not be for low ranks.

@Dam Sen It is not very active however he is only about one win away from the highest rank. Since so few players are that good it's difficult for matchmaking to find eleven suitable other players.
Just look how long it takes to find a match in Rocket League at the highest rank, and that only requires matchmaking to find one to five other players while being a much more popular mode.

@@rod5943 Actually you can. Pro players do miss sometimes, even the likes of b4nny. A few secs is spectator mode should be enough to decide whether it's a cheater or not even if you are new to tf2.

@@bobfilm-c9r I mainly play soldier but I've been trying to branch out to demo and sniper, mainly to try and improve my aim and learn more classes
@@lito8875 I think currently I'm at 100-200 hours on my account and like 300 on my old one but I've probably clocked in a total of like 1,000. Although half of that was a long ass time ago when I was like 13 and messing around on 2Fort and bot servers on a laggy pc.
I think it's worth noting that b4nny has been playing tf2 since at least 2011, and was on a competitive level at that point. Don't feel too bad about not being some god at the game, at least you're not jose.gonzalez.09 over there who doesn't realize that heavy has a minigun and just doesn't use it.

@@InmortalHit In casual the bullet spread isnt fixed so sometimes your shotgun bullets all dont connect and sometimes they do
Yeah best I do is like 3 pellets hitting, hell I remember my reticle dead center on an engineer standing still and I pulled out the pistol and medium range and my fucking bullets just decided to fuck off and go grab some coffee
bullet spread shouldn't be a problem if you are using a shotgun at the appropriate range. get gud

Yo recently i got a friend from OW to play tf2 comp, he fucking loved the game, but the match making was broken, super long queues, games filled with hackers, so we stopped playing. We are from EU though.

In my first competitive experience awhile ago, even though we had lost the matchup in the 2nd half-I was top scoring as a “bad” box soldier for the whole of both rounds on red team and I gotta say that was a very rewarding experience to be a part of. My team was great we worked together well, I loved it.

I queue whenever I play but I haven't gotten a game in like 2 or 3 months

I would like everyone to read this comment, I have been playing TF2 for 7 years, and this game has occupied me most of my teenage years since I was 10 (now I am 19), I stopped playing it more than 2 years ago now, but every now and then I go back to youtube to see me some videos to stay updated on this game hoping it will never die, every time I review the videos an absurd nostalgia comes down to me, it reminds me of all the beautiful memories and sensations passed during these 7 years, friends, competitive and halloween and christmas events, leaving out all the various wonderful cinematics that are on youtube, well what about now I'm 19 I have a girlfriend and unfortunately I have to start the "real" life we say, but this game will stay forever in my heart, and I respect everyone who still plays it, thanks for your attention, just thinking about it makes me cry.

comp is underrated
I use scroll wheel, when “chill” or low combat scenario where I’m just kinda chipping. But I have 2 side buttons on my mouse that I can press with my thumb, so 1 is melee and the other is secondary- then I have my primary on Q. So I have consistency when I need it, and I don’t have to reach to #s, I can reach them just fine but the problem is my hands are too big, if I have to travel too much I fat finger things
