I have ordered a 2022 Honda Accord Sport 2.0T in Black. I should have it in 2 or 3 weeks. I put a deposit down over a month ago. It's coming straight from the Marysville, Ohio manufacturing plant to the dealership in Salisbury, NC. It will be delivered on a rail car to Walkerstown, NC just outside of Winston-Salem,NC, then by car carrier to Salisbury. I can't wait.
My 2018 Accord 1.5T just had a fuel injector fail at 58k error code P0172 (posted on my channel). Modern Honda look amazing but once the 3yr/36k warranty expires you're on your own and you have no idea how expensive modern Honda engines are to fix. Oil changed at 80%, Shell regular used 80% of the time, always did warm up the car in the winter. Dealer so out of touch they recommended brake fluid replacement at 30k. I've never seen this part fail in ANY of my past cars. When asked why fuel injectors failed so early they said they see them all the time and $1600-$2500 (must replace all 4) would fix my out of warranty problem and the new injectors warranty is only for 12k/12mos! Made a case with Honda to inquire if it could be part of a bad batch as my series number is -0001 but all I get is VM of the person assigned. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice...
I know that black is always considered elegant but Honda should seriously start exploring other color options. And maybe mix and match them a little. Almost all black interior gets old really quickly.
I agree. Canadian market Accord offers only a black interior. Dreary and difficult to find things you might drop on the floor. U.S market gets more color options.
Yes , No real interior options. And exterior colors White , black , Silver's and Gray's only !!! Only real colors are red and blue ..... and depending on model trim "Only Red" !!!!!!!!!
They are behind in their interiors. Too much glossy black accent pieces on black plastic. My 2016 Accord came with faux carbon fiber accent on the dashboard on the right side and faux wood trim on the left side. Yes, that’s correct. How could someone in quality control not see that???
I have a 2016 and like that body style better. They should have evolved that one instead of completely changing it. That’s why I respect Porsche so much. They (Porsche) did start with a great body style and it’s timeless.

At 0:28 the headlights are different than what I’m used to. How come the corner of the headlights closest to the front fender on both sides of the car are white (covering the orange reflector) can someone tell me where I can find this aftermarket. If it is a headlight assembly or a sticker you put on the car. I have a 2020 EXL 2.0T
I recently bought 2021 accord exl from copart but it hasn't arrived yet, but I don't think my exl comes with a rear seat heating unless I don't know it. This accord does come with one, and also it comes with double thick side window glasses while ours don't
This gen Accord just never grew into me, just do not like the proportions and overall asthetic of this car, especially the rear and and side profile. In my opinion, the last graet looking accord sedan was the 2005, and the last great Accord coupe was the 2017
I hope to buy the next model. Honda should design it alittle bit bigger in length, height & width. I think they would sell more & easily compete against the overpriced European cars, including the Lexus.
Nobody in their right mind spends $40,000 on a front wheel drive only Honda Accord when there are popular four wheel drive SUV’s on the market for the same or lesser price. Toyota realized this and has Four wheel drive Camry’s on the market now.
I live in the snow belt and I've had AWD vehicles. I've never found them to be necessary. But you can buy an AWD Honda if you think you need it. SUVs are stodgy to drive though. Consumer Reports rates the '22 Accord 1st and second in it's class with the Camry 4th and 5th. I love my Accord 2.0T and it's fast - faster than many muscle cars of yore and it handles better than they ever did.
@@madamemeng884 well, if the the ‘department of public works’ clears the roads effectively then of course 4x4 might not be needed. But, front wheel drive only over a similarly priced 4x4 SUV....!?
@@madamemeng884 most cars have ‘attributes’ though, but, practically is what matters most. Particularly depending on what region one lives. In areas where rain and snow are a norm four wheel drive is preferred by most even when the roads are serviced routinely. In the last several years driving on the public roads I have to honestly say that I haven’t seen maybe more than two or three Accords on the road. Most Ive seen in the Honda product lines are Honda SUV’s. Accords are great cars, but, four wheel drive is a serious must for a reason.

The current generation, GEN 10 Accord has sold over a million vehicles in the U.S. alone, so there are buyers with other opinions. Having driven AWD and RWD over the years, here in the snow belt, I am perfectly comfortable driving an Accord on winter roads.
