I had a really close call because of a heart attack. I was on my way out. The sounds had gone away, the lights dimmed to almost nothing, and I could no longer hear the dr's around me. I got lucky. My friend Joe over dosed on a night I blew him off. After his funeral, this is the ONLY song that would play on any station. I believe he was trying to tell me he is ok. It's been 4 years, and to this day, this is mine and his song.
I had a really close call because of a heart attack. I was on my way out. The sounds had gone away, the lights dimmed to almost nothing, and I could no longer hear the dr's around me. I got lucky. Not knowing the circumstances of anyone else, but what I experienced was peacefulness. I hope when it is my time to go, that is the way it happens again. And I am sorry for your loss.

This song gives me the chills. Not long ago, one of my best friends, named Joseph, was in a bad car crash, and if he'd died, this would've been my thoughts exactly. All the what ifs, what could I have done to prevent it. As it is, I just thank God he's alive and mostly well, and still feel a bit guilty because the crash happened between our houses, after we'd hung out one day.
