Thank you so much, Max ! I watch you over Reed! Just thought you should know that! You are very good and on top of things! That's something we need here in Tornado Alley!
Thanks Max! I'm in Crawford County in SE Kansas. We certainly need the rain here.
Lisa
Stop saying the word significant or stop pronouncing it sunificant i love your content but that is nails on a chalkboard for me lol
Ground zero in central Oklahoma. Plan to finish packing my go bag in a few minutes. Storm shelter ready. Life on the plains isn't boring.
@roadieman209 silly profile picture
Wichita here, I’m actually scared.
Here in Oklahoma. I’m tired of seeing whether or not we’re gonna get hit by a tornado every other day lol. Everyone be safe!
There’s a high risk now, going to be a historic day. God protect the people in the paths of these storms
Ohio here. Praying for everyone in the paths and praying everything just hits the open fields. No lives taken no homes ruined.
A wonderful prayer. I pray also that it hits the fields and God protects the people in the path..🙏🙏
bro identifies as ohio
Could it be that God is causing people to ' look up' ?? There is nobody in 'fields'!
Don't let the farmers hear you lol
What did the fields do to you?
There are literal billboards throughout the OKC metro warning for severe weather today
I live in Piedmont, OK and we’re definitely getting everything in order for today’s weather. Even took video inventory of the house for potential insurance purposes.
Good idea doing the video inventory. Just west of Enid here so I am doing the same.
Thats giving me anxiety and I'm in Florida. Good luck. Stay safe!
I hope everyone in that range stays safe.
I am smack dab in the middle, and my cars have already been switched to full coverage before I even knew about this
I'm praying
Thanks
Another day in Tornado Alley, Woke up to fog and 59 degrees in Bonner Springs, KS. Sounds like there will be no sleep for me tonight. Got to get all my stuff charged up. Especially the flash lights.
I'm in omaha, 58 degrees and drizzle. Same setup as the tornado out break a couple weeks ago
Good luck man, I hope you'll stay safe in all that sh*t
We will try. Yall do the same. Seems like you'll get it worst than us today.
OKC here, woke up with it Foggy as hell & 60+ degrees here. Gonna be one hell of a night it sounds like
God bless and protect you all today and tonight!🙏🏻
NAHHH I JUST WOKE UP!!!! I HAVE TO WORK TODAY (i work in construction) It better not even rainhere i need my money

@@TornadoCatcher I'm in Jefferson county Arkansas, I don't think it's gonna rain here till later if it even does

@@kale_xo I'm still learning, I work in building decks and roofs
Too bad
Great! I’m in the bullseye! Pray for Oklahoma! 🙏🏻
North Central Oklahoma here. I am praying 🙏 and have storm shelter door OPEN! 😢
Hi, newish subscriber here. I have lived in OK most of my life. My first memory of severe weather was almost 40 years ago and was very traumatic. Ever since then I have horrible anxiety about any storm. This type of discussion and forecasting actually helps me oddly enough. The nerd in me loves to learn about the science of weather systems and tornadoes, and the crazy in me is calmed down just a little with the awesome strides in prediction and forecasting that have been made. I will be watching from about 30 miles ESE of Tulsa ❤
I live just north of Oklahoma City. I remember the May 3rd tornado several years ago. It was devastating. Stay safe everyone, and God bless.
I have no reason to have been terrified of tornadoes even though I've lived my entire life in tornado alley. But while the rest of the family is outside looking for it I & my cats got first choice for hiding spaces.
Now I'm more laid back & I do go outside to look. While carrying my tablet.
I also make sure to put my meds & pet carriers in the bathroom. Then when there's more confirmation it's close to me I'll put the cats in their carriers.
The only reason I'm more relaxed is because I spent quite a bit of time going online & researching things.
But it's only this year I've discovered Max & RUclips live streams.
I don't use my TV anymore. I just use my big tablet & I've had a horrible time finding more detailed information with out a conventional tv.
So last week's storms were much easier to deal with since it didn't come near Tulsa. Well except rain, wind & lots of lightning. Might have been some hail too but I don't have a car to worry about. Even if I did it would probably already have plenty of dings.
So learning all about weather & tornadoes really does help a lot.
Congratulations on 200k! You earned it with all the effort you have put in, I’m exited to see you grow even more. And thank you for this very needed update! Very appreciate Max!
Max, they recently upgraded it to a High Risk! Stay safe everyone.
Thank you for your work!! I'm in southern WI, house hit by the 🌪️ 2/8/24. I was listening to you on my way home as you called tornado on the ground in Albany WI. You were spot on, it was a mess but no one was hurt. Praying for everyone today!!!!
This is not good for those poor folks in OK. Best wishes and take this Seriously.
Watch the weather folks, don't wait until you have to scramble with mere minutes to spare.
It was just updated for okc, high risk now from moore okc to up by derby kansas. Stay safe out there yall:)
I’m in southern Colorado, our power went out at 12:30am this morning due to the very strong winds. It just now was restored. This is a dangerous storm with extremely strong damaging winds. Be safe out there today!
Just came here to say this outside of Denver
Thank you 🙏🏼💕
we are east of you. supposed to get here sometime this evening with tornadoes. Thank you for letting us know. I'm in worried and praying mode today
The wind knocked down a huge highway sign which hit a semi or 2 at I25 and 58th in the Denver metro this morning. The highway was closed for several hours. Stay in if possible when it's so windy!
I pray that there are no large tornadoes, if any tornadoes at all. If there has to be any, I pray they are gonna be in non populated areas. This is gonna be a crazy day, and I pray that the storm chasers stay safe as well!
I'm from central Oklahoma! Praying for everyone today!
I'm in Enid, praying for all! 😢
It went up from moderate risk to high risk. Stay safe everyone
Congratulations on 200k, Max. Thank you for always keeping us updated with the upcoming weather. Looks like we might get severe weather on Thursday. Praying that it passes over everyone in the path of it this week. Stay safe.
I'm not computer savvy. How do you find how many subscribers a you tube channel have? SE MO here. Be safe everyone
@roxane7432 I'm not sure how you see it on a computer, but on the phone it's beside his name. Southwest Tennessee here. Stay safe.
High Risk is now officially going to be issued at 13Z.
Don’t be scared; be prepared!
Great 👍 weather 🌧 🌪 update, Max. Thank you and Best Regards from ROUTE 66 in central Oklahoma ✅!
80mph winds!!! That's insane. I live in SW Missouri. Hope it doesn't get too bad.
Praying for all 🙏 from Australia. The Storm Chasers & Max Velocity your all amazing & a godsend.
Do you get twisters there?
@@davidplummer2473 Hi David, no Australia has a Cyclone season October to April; they start out in the oceans can take days to travel and develop before possibly making landfall where they start to dissipate once on land. The largest cyclone to hit Australia was Cyclone Yasi in 2011 a category 5. We do have land spouts occur in the outback region affectionately called Willy Willie’s however most of inland Australia is uninhabited, therefore no damage to property or lives however climate change has seen some significant increases in Willy Willie’s appearing closer to populated areas especially in mid state of Victoria where damage has occurred to some country towns and rural communities. 🙏 for your question and interest. Blessings and stay safe 🙌💕
@@VVixen790 US has a hurricane (same thing as a cyclone) season that officially starts June 1 but extremely rarely do you see even a tropical storm before August. The bulk of hurricanes are mid-August to mid-October, September being prime time.
Hi David, looks like we jinxed Australia! Our first Tornado 🌪️ hit in Bunbury Western Australia today Saturday 10 may. Homes, businesses decimated some injuries. No basements in Australia! Try channel 7 news Australia on RUclips. We may need a Max too 😮. Kim 🙋🏻♀️

Happy 200K again!!! That’s crazy! Been a subscriber since 150K. That was NOT even a month ago! Wow!
100k was right at 90 days ago is what he said last night when he hit 200.
West OKC suburb here. Weather aware is a understatement. Thx for your coverage
West OKC suburb here as well
stay safe!
I have to admit, Max really is a great narrator. He knows his stuff.
Oxford MS had a tornado warning at 1 this morning
Congratulations on 200,000, Max! You totally earned this. Lots more to come ❤
HIGH RISK GOT ISSUED
Thanks Tom! I'm in Lawton OK SW region.
Congrats on 200k!
You excel with your coverage 🙏💖🙏💖
Glad you are here to warn us. The weather apps including some of the mainstream ones aren't even tracking this and don't even call for rain today in my part of OK.
They are all garbage. Any free one is horrible.
Same for the TX Panhandle. The TV station weather doesn't show ANY storms in my area. I've been a bit confused about it. I wrote down what they say about this week's weather and then I will document what ACTUALLY happens.
Just checked the spc And It was just added 😢
Please be safe Oklahoma people
They just issued a high risk
high risk issued!
Yay, I’m In El Reno Oklahoma and lost my roof in 2013 and house in 2011 el Reno ef5’s
I recall that! I'm so sorry you folks had to go through that. Praying 🙏 for y'all and us in Enid. Take precautions!
My son is in Fort Carson CO and said roofs are being blown off of carports. High winds
I have a couple friends from Grad school who live in the outskirts of OKC...I hope they remain safe.
I'm so worried for them.
It takes a brave person to live in the Midwest with all the weather.
Nadocast today put its first ever 30% Significant Tornado forecast east of Oklahoma City, stay safe everyone
Is it first all time ?
@@thomaslamiaud9931 Nadocast forecast started in 2022, peaked at 15% a few days but never got to 30% until today, theoretically it can go to 60%
It looks like Paul's valley Oklahoma might get hit. My predictions 😅
@@spookyscaryskeletonsmith2840 Thank you mister for the information, that's crazy honestly, very concerning about the peoples and damages... I hope you're safe !
Nadocast hit 60% week before last. So this isn’t the highest it’s been
Heavenly Father, You who command the winds and waves, we ask You to calm the storms that threaten our safety. Whether they manifest as tornadoes, hurricanes, or violent thunderstorms, let Your peace override the chaos. Instill calm in our spirits and stillness in the atmosphere.
Protect all those in the path of these storms, from families in their homes to travelers on the road. Strengthen our community’s preparedness and response efforts, and let no life be lost to the fury of nature. May we always find our refuge in You, trusting that You are with us in the storm and beyond. Amen. ✝️🙏
Thank you Max.

64 degrees in east/central Oklahoma. Gotta get my "storm snacks" ready because I have kids and grandkids in the bingo area.
Stay safe, everyone!
Congrats on the 200,000 Max - you more than deserve it! I've watched since you first began with less than 1,000.
Good luck to all especially Derby in Kansas, love from Derby in The UK.
You’re quickly becoming my go to guy for weather. I will be tuning in from South Central Kansas today!
Lawton OK here. My daughter had an appointment at 330 today and they rescheduled because of the storms coming in 😮💨
Just got bumped up to a 30% hatched high risk. This is gonna be another one for the record books.
I agree 😢
I'm glad you're on top of this storm. Will be watching you later. Thanks, Max.
Thank you for dedicating your time with these posts and live streams they help me a lot
I am in eastern Oklahoma. Gotta keep our eyes open! Yikes! Thanks, Tom
Us people in Kansas too! Stay safe tho!
Everyone in the Nado Zone, I recommend you take pictures of everything you want covered in the insurance check. Cuz insurance’s get shady when the storms drop. Pictures of all your stuff is a great way to almost guarantee getting your stuff back.
Also this might be a day where the center part of the house is not an option. I recommend having everything ready to go and try to hang out at a location that has ground access. Many towns have community shelters. I would locate those shelters and spend the afternoon near those shelters. Don’t wait until the storm are already firing up. That would mean congested streets and would be even more dangerous. Please don’t wait until the last minute to go to the ground. This is a day to take extremely serious. Stay calm, but be ready.
Hey Guys! A high risk of severe weather has been issued for Oklahoma and far southern Kansas! Stay safe!!
What in the heck are we going to do in another 10 or 20 years when these storms get even worse?
Thank you Max for your great weather coverage as usual. I live in Saint Louis so I’m going to be watching your videos and streams. Keep it up!. Congrats on 200k 🎉❤
I'm 65 and grew up in Kansas although now live elsewhere. but I still have family there. All my life I've been reading how "tornado alley" is shifting to the South. Seems like this year, however, it has been the traditional tornado alley that is showing the action. I know this isn't Max's schtik, but I'd be interested in hearing why this year it is dominant in the traditional tornado alley vs. states like Alabama. Mississippi, etc.
I believe it has to do with the El Nino dying off and La Nina taking over again. Ryan Hall, Y'all has a video going into detail about it. It's his 2024 spring severe storm prediction video from a couple months ago.
Thank your Gvt.
@@MB-vi8zp Thanks. Will check it out.
I was told that tornado alley follows the trail of tears and the land has been cursed because of this.
Please take this seriously! God be with all in these areas in danger. God be with all storm chasers.
Oh wow already to 200k congratulations
I'm in Wichita Kansas just stepped outside it's overcast and cool not even humid I don't understand how they think we're in a high risk this happens every time
I'm in Enid, OK. It's very grey, cloudy, humid & super muggy here! We are NOT taking this notice lightly.
My little brother goes, "looks like an avocado".
Here cometh the avocado storm
Good morning to Max and everyone, I hear that Tuesday and Wednesday will be bad days for the Ohio and Tennessee valley, everyone please stay safe and if Max is telling you to take cover,go 🤗♥️🕯️🕊️🙏✝️
Thank you, I am in Ohio 🙏🏼💕
I live in the middle of this. The more dangerous they say it will be usually it will fizzle out. Hopefully this will be the case. Prayers
Whelp, this is out of date. It's a high risk now. Better re-record.
Ummmm... he talked about the HIGH risk... 😆
Fuck, I'm Like an hour east of OKC. I just hope nothing happens and if anything does, nothing happens to my cat.
Now I am worried about your cat.
Keep your cat inside!
I just subscribed because someone mentioned Max in the comments for Ryan Hall. Glad I caught that.
MD 646 was just issued, at the 1300Z outlook a high risk will be issued
We're in a loaded gun scenario
watching from central KS sounds like it'll be a "fun" afternoon here
oklahoma city and moore needs to be on alert big time.
So happy to see you succeed in life Max. You’re a real one. Thanks for all your hard work.
WI- praying for everyone, this is insane, this path basically just had this happen before. Absolutely insane! Please be safe yall
In Oklahoma, we're hunkering down. One never knows. Got shelter door open 😢
Yikes. I live right in the heart of the red zone.
I’m in witchita falls tx. I’m absolutely terrified.
got high risk now
I live in Wichita, Ks & wont lie kinda freaking out. Hope my daughter & husband get home before the storms hit & hoping to be able to cram the cars in the garage too. Last time we had this high of risk we had a Cat 5 long track tornado. Suppose to get very large hail too. Wish us luck.
I'm in wichita ks too😢
Prayers for both of you neighbors, i’m 2 hours east in Chanute
Oh my gosh. Please make it stop.
The state of Indiana here.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Please remind people to help the animals, over and over and over.
Thank you
Thank you Max, you’re the best!
The OKC metropolitan area is smack in the middle of the high risk and I don't need to remind everyone of the violent tornado history in central Oklahoma
Well, I am right in the bullseye. Let 'er rip, can't stop the storms so just have to be ready for when they hit.
*Cracks a beer, sits back and laughs at the other states who talked trash about Texas' power grid.*
I appreciate the heads up Max! Thank you!!
Will be checking out your live stream today. Looks like it’s going to be a significant severe weather threat the next few days.
200k, congratulations, and on my birthday too.
