The problem is whether or not the people that you want to live in those homes can actually get a mortgage. Do they have the income to support the payments that they're going to be required to make. The builder can come in there and put up a home in a short period of time but is there anyone around that can afford it based on their credit score/income/down payment/interest rate. Remember interest rates have tripled since this administration has been in power in Washington. You voted for this you thought this was a great idea and it's not working out especially with inflation it's a problem everywhere in every sector not just this one. Elections matter, don't waste your vote the next time. This is going to take a decade to clean up the mess we have now from this administration. I wouldn't be surprised if they put housing in there for illegal aliens.
