IMHO, Beyonce hasn't been recognized for this award because she has so many cowriters. How does it take 13 people to write one song? I don't even understand that.
She also doesn't play her own instruments. I'm not saying any of that is a requirement for a good album, but if people are voting for the best album of the year, they're going to take those things into consideration.

@@shawncarter5434 I’m a songwriter. It’s not that hard to write a chorus and a verse. One, two or even three collaborators is perfectly enough. Beyoncé is awesome, but it’s reasonable to believe that this is a contributor.
