It’s so common in our desi community. A lot of ‘arranged marriages’ where couples are not compatible. The amount of men that cheat within a week or two or getting married. They go do it with non Muslim women or reverts to disrespect them. And then instead of getting divorced they stay married and cheat. You need to be within at least one madhab’s ruling. There is absolutely no excuse for cheating.

I say this from my own personal experience and interaction. Even individual social media so called sheikhs are doing this. Yusha Evans is one of them. They think there famous and nobody will have a voice to raise against them but Allah is watching them. Before like any dua'ts I use to follow this guy. He slide on my DM and tried to manipulate me. When advising in return he block me immediately.

My close friend and her husband spoke to our local imam regarding this and he advised to inform this to someone righteous from his native country. At the time I tried my best to approach someone senior from USA to make awareness but I fail. Then after few month passing I was able to speak with a brother from San Diego, USA and alhamdullilah he took my concern very seriously. This might be a regular thing on online dawah but not many speak out due to shame and embarrassment. Allah knows best

In America, it is wrong for men or women to cheat. Americans have largely taken forgotten that their values stem from Christian values, which teach us to love all people, and love is to will the good of the other. Loving your wife means not committing adultery. Loving your neighbor means willing the good of others by not engaging in acts that harm them spiritually. If you care about women in general, you would not use them and cast them aside for personal pleasure.

I think the arrangemnt of seating the guests should be taken under consideration. Would it be better if the males are seated in a row facing the camera and the women behind the brothers. That way dialogue is able to take place but without the awkward lowering gazes
