Thanks so much. I am not in the nursing field, but found your lecture most enlightening wrt understanding my 'intuitive' research approach as a conflict resolution practitioner. I now understand better why the examiners termed it a contribution to theory and methodology & I thought what I was doing is common sense i.e. seeking an answer to a gap found in practice, which led me to a transdisciplinary journey that stretched me beyond recognition ; ). As a result of your lecture, I am now trying to understand why a combination of inductive & deductive analyses is not more common as it seems to be a natural route for practitioners who become scholars; and it presents us with interplay findings to see 'what else' is going on 'invisibly' to impact our praxis. Lifelong and post-hoc learning is so enriching. You, your work, and generosity of spirit to share so freely, are deeply appreciated.
