Had a former mechanic for a Nissan dealership tell me to never buy a used Nissan. He said to buy it new and get the lifetime drivetrain warranty because you will need it. That being said, I feel like every brand has issues. Ford had to rebuild the 10 speed in my 2019 F150 due to a factory defect at 84,000 miles.
@@WrenchingWithKenny for sure, currently having the front vacuum hubs for the 4X4 system replaced on the same truck. It’s already had cam phasers, a transmission rebuild, a purge valve, valve cover gaskets, the module that controls the infotainment system , and a tailgate latch assembly, all replaced since I bought it with 32 miles on it. I think it’s around 92,500 now.
Here is a link to the K10 Pro. The one is the video is no longer available amzn.to/4gXP5ll I actually prefer it over my Snap On. Super easy to use & does more than the Snap On. Keep wrenching 🔧 Kenny
Good lord that engine sounds like a threshing machine. McCornick Deering would be proud
Great find and fix Kenny. Lots of folks would have thrown a CVT at it out of habit and not of took time to verify and diag.
That's what I try to do. Thanks for watching! Keep wrenching 🔧 Kenny
CVTs get such a bad name, people are quick to blame the transmission. Good find and fix Kenny
They are crap!
@@TimDyb I'm not a fan either. I do think the newer ones may be a tad bit better, the older ones were horrible.
Great job Kenny!
love the videos learned a lot from you.
Thanks for watching, appreciate the support. Keep wrenching 🔧 Kenny

Seems like a lot of manufacturers have their share of issues, unfortunately. Keep wrenching 🔧 Kenny

How did we ever get anywhere without a obd2 or a cam shaft position sensor basically a refinery on wheels
Hey Kenny what kinda car is tha we seen in the parking lot when you showed us the bandit tow truck. Looks sweet
Kenny did you get any of that rust check oil from Amazon yet in the red can
Kenny can that scan tool put electronic parking breaks into service mode? If not do you know if an inexpensive tool for the DIY
@dougjones9493 Yes it does. Keep wrenching 🔧 Kenny
Good video
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching. Keep wrenching! Kenny
By your disclaimer, I assume you believe the lady may have bumped the shifter into neutral by accident and didn’t notice?
Hey Kenny im looking to buy a new scanner but was wondering which version your using in the video is it the kingbolen 7 or 8?

@@WrenchingWithKenny ok awesome thank you very much for getting back to me I really appreciate it
Maybe Intake valve timing?
Nissan they are driven. Normally to get the CVT replaced at 150k 😉
You mentioned the internet? Aren't you hard-wired to the obd port? What's the problem with the internet being wonky? I don't understand these things.
Yes, scanner is hard wired to obd port. Scanner has Bluetooth so it can connect to shops local network and access Internet.
The Launch is currently unavailable...
Thanks for letting me know. I will have to check out another one to post after I get it. Keep wrenching! Kenny
@carsten4594 Here is a link to another Launch that I use amzn.to/400H3RJ
Didn’t actually see how it was replaced so not very helpful thanks for showing us the location I guess
CVTs get such a bad name. Since they eventually fail, most people assume the time has come when something slips. You bought this one another 25K
Yeah I would have assumed the trashy CVT (Nissan) but very surprised! Great job!!!!!
I am so nervous about the Nissan + Honda news 😮
You are not alone with your concern. Hopefully, Honda engineers will be in charge when/if the merger goes through. Keep wrenching 🔧 Kenny
Please STOP showing your email address. One day you will think you get a valid email but it'll be a scam and you will get caught with it.
Thanks for the advice. Keep wrenching! Kenny
It's a Nissan w/ a CVT -----> SEND IT TO THE CRUSHER !!!!
Japanese designed it for small Asian fingers. Great for proctologists but suck for big America fingers 😄

It is NISSAN you cannot reach any thing because of their bad engineers designer they made every thing un reachable
