When it comes to the BMW F10 M5 it seems like most owners choose to keep their stock wheel setup, lower the ride height and maybe add some wheel spacers. Heck, I did that with my previous M5. It was so difficult to find wheels that looked good on this chassis. Online examples weren't the best and it quickly became a guessing game. Imagine spending big money on M5 wheels for them to only not look right when you mount them. Well, good news. I ordered aftermarket wheels for my Pure Metal Silver M5 and they look amazing. People were so wrong about aftermarket wheels looking bad on the F10 M5.

Looks good but honestly think black gets so lost being so dark and almost looks like every other black wheel. I think the anthracite grey would have been nice too

Don’t wrap the door handle parts black, the chrome is barely noticable, but black it would look weird with random black stripes in a middle of a silve car..
In my humble opinion. I would of stayed with silver wheels.. I’ve had black wheels on my cars, recently changed to silver and they pop out more 🤷🏻♀️ specially on a light car color good choice tho 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Polished would’ve looked too clean in my opinion on those style wheels. The black still looks fire tho👍🏼
Wheels complement really good the car, specially when all the carbon parts get installed, it will look really nice. Wonder, if I guy that battery charger, how many entries I’ll get for the E46 M3 giveaway!!

I've always been a fan of aftermarket wheels. On my previous car: Daytona-Grey RS6 C6, I rocked the JR11 Hyperblack. Was really hard to capture the black rims on picture. But looked really good IRL. And the setup you have now, looks really good :) Always helps with the tire-cleaner aswell.
I bought a Black M5 F10 (13') last April, and I just bought a set of Ferrada FR4 to it (10" at the front and 11.5" at the back). As I thought the Black on Black might be too much, I went for the Silver wheels.
I like the stock wheels alot better, black wheels just look dirty to me

Dayum, that fitment is on point. Not big fan of "flat face" wheels, but since they not permanent it doesn't matter. This just needs some concave or dish
Definitely not flat. Concave for sure. Maybe it's hard to tell on video. Look at one of the angles towards the end of the video.

Good choice with the wheels as for the ride hight I would leave it because the streets I drive on in Pa mainly Philly wouldn’t go to low unless you want your bumper in a pot hole. But the car is beautiful bro, keep the good content coming. And thanks for all your hard work.

I hate to say I think, but yeah, I think it looks nice, the black hides it's design thereby compromising, just a little bit on the easthetics of the side profile etc etc, you almost have to come close to really appreciate the beauty of the beast, nonetheless, if you're happy, behind you 100%
I’m more of a polished wheel kinda guy, but should look good once the black accents are added.

Finally, you are doing it right by installing those phat wheels instead of spacers. Car looks right at home. However, for the color I would've gone with some kind of polished silver, anthracite or carbon color instead of polished black.

Got to see this thing up close and personal today, and it lives up to expectation. Wish i could see it out in direct sunlight, but it is a good looking setup. Wife loves the Wheels, im still not 100% sold on them. Something about full black wheel and completely black rubber isnt as appealing to me.
I never liked the look of black wheels. For some reason they all just look like black steel winter wheels. I always prefer alloy wheels to be silver or some other color other than black. My favorite car paint color is black, but the wheels should never be black IMHO!

Thats exactly it, black wheels remind me of my prius steel black rims after I took the silver hub caps off . From a distance thats what all black wheels look like . Just so dull. Not hating but just MHO .

Clean but I'm not a huge fan of these on the car, especially in gloss black, but like you said they probably do look way better in person. I like this wheel design personally, but I think they're too angular, aggressive, and aftermarket looking for this conservative and classy f10 body. However, maybe it'll be a different story with a front lip, side skirt extensions, trunk spoiler, rear diffuser and extensions that could make the car as aggressive as the wheels and tie everything together nicely. Love this build can't wait for more. Also looking forward to see the wheels you really want to put on.

This style wheel suits the f10. I was looking at some vorsteiner Vff 110's in graphite Carbon but struggled to get any. Ended up having the bmw ones powder coated in a bmw dark grey which has a slight blue hue to it. Had them done in satin to match the frozen black and they look pretty good. Also had the exhaust tips done to match. Saved me a fortune but I really did want those vorsteiners 😄
My first choice of wheels were Vorsteiners. But couldn't get them in time.
@@VehicleVirals The Vossen's still look amazing though. I did look at those you have also as an alternative but decided on choosing my own color and going the powder coat route.
Bro you can NEVER go wrong with VOSSEN! Gloss black powdercoated CVT’s. Been rolling with them for a while… 20x9f and 20x10.5r on 245/30/20 and 275/30/20 Michelin Sport 4S (lowered and sitting flush). Waaay better than stock!

Very nice look indeed. So what's the Fully Forged going to look like? I went with Gloss Black/Tinted Face Fully Forged myself on my F10 550i.. I love the look and you can see the rims at all angles.
god damn 30.6 and 29.8 thats kinda heavy for such narrow wheels. yeah forged wheels are definitely gonna be beneficial, the wheels im looking at for my x5m are 21x11 (25lbs) 21x12.5 (26.5 lbs).
ull definitely feel the difference when you go forged wheels, i remember when i took the stock wheels off my e36 which were like 45 and 50 lbs with tires for te37 which were like 32 and 33lbs with tires car felt so light on its feet lol it was crazy.
The factory forged wheels were about 3 lbs lighter than the Vossens.

Probably the most random questions here but any specific ceramic coating you recommend? What tire dressing/shine do you use? Great content man - I got pulled in with your e9x content
I use gtechniq C5 for the wheels and I use Chemical Guys VRP for the tire dressing (water based).

Wheels are nice, but Im not sold on the Gloss Black. Car looks good. Personally I'd try to add some of the Pure Metal silver to the wheels just so there is some contrast.. Not that you ask my opinion.. See you at Invasion.

hey man i got a question my 335i has been stalling out in neutral it’s a manual N55 and was wondering if you know how to fix this issue or where to start looking
I think the car looks great with the wheels and I don’t agree with those saying that you can’t put wheels on a F10. I used to own an F10 msport 535i and I had dark gunmetal colored 20 inch Vorsteiner wheels on it. The rear tires were 285s though as the Msport could not take as wide of a rear wheel as the actual M5. I got so many compliments on that car. Some actually thought it was an M5 until they saw the rear exhaust or I told them the differences. The F10 had a great body style.
*Nothing wrong with aftermarket I've got so many parts which are AM the car looks sick with the new mod* 👏

Light wheels are always a plus for me. Quicker acceleration very noticeable on the first drive

You're right. I wrapped them and took them off immediately 😂. The chrome door handle trim that is. I like the side grilles wrapped.

Man the problem with the f10 M5 is that the stock style 343M wheel looks so good, plu they are fully forgerd and lightweight.
I think it looks great, I have the same wheels on my F90 in silver sitting on 295 in the rear and 285 up front, on PS4’s

That's a great size for a battery jump booster...best thing to have....you never know when or where your battery will die

Dose are not the wheels. The stock wheels looks way better then those and if you doing aftermarket wheels have to go with 21”.

I'm running OEM tire sizes. You should be able to go with 305s in the rear however.

Not bad, but I think the black is just too dark. a gun metal or dark grey would accent this car perfectly.
Should be 🔥 once carbon accents are slapped on, carbon eyelids, vvivid smoked vynyl headlight +tail light tint, complete chrome delete and 20% window tint all around. 🥵 Should wrap your roof high gloss black. Ties up the black wheels on the popn chrome/silver exterior. You're welcome.

Yeah. Shouldnt have to gone with black. Does no justice to the wheel design or the car really. Pirelli tires always look balooony. Switch up tire and you can probably fit 305s

Totally just an opinion but I think the stock wheels look better. Don’t get me wrong the wheels you got are definitely nice but, Idk, with that paint job the car needs silver wheels. The black wheels kinda make it look like a Cholo car a little :/
