Thank you all for watching & have an amazing day!! - Развлечения
A Little Life is not non-fiction or a memoir. It is a fiction book based on a character called Jude who is not a real person. It is a really sad novel but it is beautifully written
No one is doing any research before making these videos huh? 😂
Butcher and Blackbird is my favorite of the year so far. The audiobook is chef's kiss. Haunting Adeline and Hunting Adeline is very good, but very dark, especially the second book, but I still liked both.
I plan on reading The Housemaid. Currently reading The Teacher and flying through it and Love it! I’m a Virgo and can relate to being emotional❤
I think you will like The Housemaid. I read it in less than two days. It was very disturbing but I did love all the twists. Everything else I haven't read either. I'm curious when you'll read a Funny Story by Emily Henry. I curious to hear what you think.
I promise the Housemaid is totally worth the hype! I was obsessed. First Frieda McFadden book I ever read and now she's my absolute favorite mystery/thriller author.
Hated Song of Achillies. I just never found it interesting.
I DNF'd Archer's voice, The Spanish love deception and The song of Achilles. I have all the Magnolia Parks books... why? I don't know, they don't really appeal to me. Oh yeah, I know why, because I'm a book hoarder and I can't contain myself that's why! Have an awesome day.
Magnolia Parks was TERRIBLE!!! No scenery descriptions at all even though it took place in London and could have had some great scenery. The characters are all one dimensional and act juvenile and the author spends have the time describing every little thing they wear. They’re back in forth in a toxic relationship and nothing happens! It’s a mess. The cover is the most interesting thing about it!
Oh no. I bought two of them 😮
I LOVED Magnolia Parks, but I can understand how some may not like it.
I read I'm Glad My Mom Died and honestly, it was an emotional ride. I felt so bad for Jennette while reading it. Hearing how she went through her acting career was intense. I wish I could have talked some sense into her mother or been a mentor to Jennette as she was growing up to let her know that it was ok to say no.
Archer’s Voice was so good. Skip Haunting Adeleine. That book is really dark.
I haven’t read most of the ones you mentioned either! I enjoyed The Vanishing Half, Verity, and The Housemaid though! Those were all 4 stars for me so I’m not gonna be raving about them but I would recommend. Did not enjoy The Atlas Six 😬😆
I loved Magnolia Parks, but I can see how some people wouldn’t. I was very captivated by the story. I also love Archer’s Voice! It’s a very sweet romance, but it definitely has mixed reviews.
From this list I have read The Spanish Love Deception, which I initially dnf at chapter 5, then picked it back up a year later and actually ended up enjoying it. Archer's Voice is on my tbr but non of the other books intrigue me. I've found popular booktok books are more often then not not my cup of tea lol!
My top popular TikTok book I haven’t read yet is fourth wing 😬
I enjoyed Archer's Voice, I thought it was more of a quiet romance than a sweeping one.
I read The Housemaid and it was a quick read. Not interested in the Magbolia Parks series or the straight up fantasy books. Sounds like I should try Powerless though!
There is a free little lib. near me in front of a school , some teachers (I assume) leave a good selection I picked up Verity and it sits on my shelve of 100 plus books maybe someday
I don’t know if it’s a TikTok favorite but I’m very curious about A Court of Thorns and Roses.
The Atlas Six was underwhelming and it’s part of a trilogy. As someone who prefers standalone books this floored me. I won’t be finishing the series because the first book was all over the place and then had a really unhinged plot twist that honestly ruined any desire I would have had to keep reading.
Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover was a 5 star read for me. The Spanish Love Deception has been on my tbr since forever.. I loved Magnolia Parks and will read book 3 and 4 this month (or May) for the 5th book. I ❤ Magnolia and BJ. I think you either love or hate the magnolia parks universe, there is nothing in between
I liked this video. I find that so many books on tik tok that are popular were popular before the rise of tik tok. I’m curious if instagram has the same type of popular books of similar nature.
Archers voice I loved it and I think you wpuld too .. atlas six is more dark academia
Heather, I was just getting on here to say I don't think I can handle reading A Little Life after having dealt with a sick son for three years. I know the book has nothing to do with illness, but I just can't do sad books or movies since, even though my so is fine now. Maybe it is a Virgo thing too.
I did not like The Song of Achilles. It was a DNF for me, and I also don’t have much interest in Greek mythology. I hated Verity. Lol 😅 I did love Babel! I skipped most of the footnotes though. 😬
A little life is fiction. Also you definitely need to be in the right frame of mind for it! If you can read it!
I love Mia Sheridan books! You’ll have to read Archers voice and than Travis!
The vanishing half was good. I’ll never read anything else by sally Rooney. I read conversations with friends. Painful
Magnolia parks is now traditional
Archer's Voice was just ok to me. It's definitely not my favorite, I didn't get the hype.
The Housemaid is better than the Inmate. When you read The Housemaid the character Nina is going to make you mad but you have to keep going. I read The Housemaid because someone was reading and their hatred for Nina came through the screen. I thought any book that can evoke that type of emotion and feeling from someone is the book that I want to read. A book that makes you forget that a character is fictional.
A Little Life is fiction and is a great book. But based on what you said, it’s too sad for you to read 😢
Powerless was not for me and I loved hunger game
The Song of Achilles (or any of her books) is great if you have no idea what is happening in Greek mythology ever but wanna pretend you do.
Also, don’t let anyone bully you into a Little Life. They’re all pretentious liars if they say it’s good
Magnolia parks is very toxic relationship. I tried to read it and can't. There's no plot just character driven
I read Magnolia Parks I really did not see the hype at all. That one is fine to pass on.
A little life is my favorite, but it would probably be too much for you. It's fiction.
