Overall the much warmer air does win out since we don't get Winter's like back in the 60's anymore. They were real brutal back then since i remember them very well.
Wonderful video it was 52 degrees coming through downtown Chicago this morning today's location Chicago to Cleveland. I'm so happy it doesn't look like I'll be playing in white stuff this week😅
Hi everyone, I am watching from Milford Connecticut. You supply. just the facts about the weather. There’s no blister or filler here. Your forecasts are terrific. Your delivery is excellent. I Enjoy your channel very much
Happy Sunday Gerald. You’re getting closer to carver mass but not quite hitting us. We didn’t get any snow here but they did get a coating in Boston. It’s coming I can feel it. 😊
Only a coating overnight in Salem, NH. Much more in the mountains. Ski areas are loving this early winter weather. Been below freezing for almost a week so snow making is 24/7.
We lost the morning sun, but we do have around 60 degrees at lunchtime here in the Midlands of SC. I might have to open the windows, it's so warm. 😆😆 Thanks, GM! Enjoy your Sunday!
Good Sunday everyone! The Thumb of Michigan is cloudy & gray presently with a temp of 37°. This warmer weather is nice, but we, here in Michigan, always look for a storm to brew when temps change (along with my arthritis flare-up... my weather predictor). Everyone, stay cozy and safe❤
@juggalojay5981 You will get it soon..winter isn't quite officially here until Dec 21st. We've had many mild winters over the years...good luck on your ice fishing!
Received just over 6 inches here in Parkman Maine.. total so far is close to 18.. I'm expecting a large snow fall this season and some cold snaps in the negative numbers..
From Western Mass , today we recieved about 4 inches. We have been in a snow drought for a while. I might buy a snowmobile again…. HA! Just don’t tell my wife….
Gerald, it seems to me that meteorologists are terrible at predicting weather. I have no idea how. I have been out-predicting local and national meteorologists with 100% track record for at least the past 7 years. Back in 2022, a few days before Xmas, a major blizzard was predicted for the Chicagoland area. The night before the predicted event (less than 24 hrs. before), all the meteorologists were predicting not only 8"-14" minimum, with many areas getting 20+", along with actual blizzard conditions. I am on public record stating that we would NOT see a blizzard and would also "be lucky to get 2" of snow". People panicked, bought mountains of salt, canceled travel plans, etc. What did we get? 1.6" of snow and no blizzard. How is it possible that someone with no meteorology training (me) somehow always out-predicts the experts? They've been talking about "La Nina! La Nina!" since last April and insisting we'd see an increasingly strong La Nina through summer and into fall and winter, with colder and wetter fall and winter. I predicted the opposite. What happened? Warmer than normal temps every month (except June) all the way through November. December started out below normal, but now the next week we're seeing temps 10-15 degrees or more above normal. Snowfall? Nowhere to be seen. Again, how is it possible for the experts to always be wrong? I'm in the wrong field. I cannot afford to be wrong even once. I should switch to meteorology, where it doesn't matter how often I'm wrong. This just never ceases to amaze (and disappoint) me. I love snow. I'm missing the winter if 1978-79 where we had 90" of snow and over an inch on the ground for a record 100 straight days.
