Shivam is an automotive designer with his speciality in two wheelers. He has been working in the industry from a long time with giants like Hero MotoCorp. Currently working as Chief Designer at Revolt Motors, he designed India’s first AI enabled electric motorcycle, the RV400. In this video he shares his valuable experience around design.

Nice interview but irony is that after so many of talks what they have produced a re-badged super soko Chinese motorcycle.. indian companies are just busy on copying others although they have some very good designers..... recently what bajaj have done with chetak .. it's like vespa on steroids (even they didn't left that grill portion on front)..whats tvs is doing just copying honda for scooters,ducati for rr 310 and Harley for zeplin concept and finally deadman hero ... showcased some good concepts (sadiyo phle) but what they launched eventually...that fucking Xtreme 200r which is decade behind in terms of design and finally bajaj they're inspiring not from nature things.. they're inspiring from already existed some Italian bikes like energica electric and diavel..and 200ns headlight from honda🙄😑

Bro you made me confused a bit. I literally think that India is a country where most of the (car or bike) buyers are the people who use vehicles for their day to day life and usage. They barely thinks about the design. Like most of the bikes are under 200cc and cars are under 1.5 Litre and at this category there is not much need of your creativity or say the buyer will never own a car/bike of this class just by looking into your creativity. What I think is, the design field is basically and specifically for performance class bikes/cars i.e. bikes above 500cc or multi-cylinder and cars above 2.5 - 3 Litre or beyond inline 4s (like Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar etc) . So if you are targeting the Indian market vehicles(of commuter class) then you will be sacrificing with your creativity and talent every time, in my opinion.
@@rishikeshraj1138 Not true, Design always plays a factor. There are bikes under 500cc that sell solely for design, as there are cars that do the same. Good Design is never talked about; But when something is badly designed everyone notices.
@@rishikeshraj1138 that's why design brain drain is one of the most prominent brain drains in India, it’s a cycle, we design bad and the masses get used to mediocre and bad design, point is to represent ourselves in the international market, your dream motorcycle would’ve been a motorcycles from some other country, we as young Indian designers don’t want that to happen again, we’ll make our generation dream of Indian motorcycles and build something iconic and one of the best in the entire world

Hello Sir...bike design is my dream....... I have no work except the dream....... Now I am a jobless guy but no worry...! I'm from Assam...! I have been started to scatch bike draining since I read in class 6standards...! Still I scatch bike design..... There are lot of new design bike have in my under file cover but I can't contact any bike company.... I have not any designing degree .my qualifications is only H. S passed.but with my trust my design are unique and I can do the design as company need....! Sir can help me a little for my dream..... ! if possible please sir help me....!!
Bro visit any automotive company's site and check the required skills for getting a job in their designing department. Because afterall you have to get an appointment and face an interview showing your degree and skills. It is India and maybe you'll surely need degree for achieving your dream job. Hope u got it ! ❤️
if u have done graduation then u can apply for NID (national institute of design) or IITs for a masters degree in automotive design (m.des) for more info u can check their websites.

Do you think Indians who made such masterpieces won't be able to make a simple motorcycle? most of our cultural teachings and practices included some form of art! Which were mostly destroyed by the invaders or colonisers! They kept plundering us and tried to weaken our cultural strength, which led us to abandoning our art practices due our economic conditions as our nation was broke when they left, so it let to the education system creating only brain dead machines who can keep the country form going broke again! So yes, all the invasions did alot of damage to the nation and its people, and we are still recovering from it in some way or the other! In India due to all these reasons art isn't valued and practiced as much as it was in the ancient times! Many traditional art forms of India has already died! And in the upcoming year all of them might go extinct! So you keep your sarcasm up your woke ass and try helping artists with your own money, hope somebody you help might someday become a successful designer! #butterflyeffect brother!...
