First he was the best of the worst in Melee, then he earned a spot in mid-high tier in Brawl, then he was a *flat* out low tier in Smash 4 and now he has finally rised up from the working class and became one of the best characters in the game with multiple characters having bad matchups against him.
One time I was playing smash two of my friends and I had just died as game and watch, said “what if”, dropped down, and hit both of them with the same 9 and won.
