Welcome to our latest bison roundup adventure! In this video, we take you along as we work to catch our biggest bison bull, Big Joe, and his ladies for spring vaccinations. With the largest bison herd we've ever had on our ranch, it was no small feat to wrangle these magnificent creatures.
Join us as we share the thrills and challenges of rounding up Big Joe and his herd. You'll see Big Joe's impressive size and strength as he leads his ladies through the pasture, and the excitement of the chase as we work to capture them. We also move our new flock of baby chicks into their own pen, while setting up the mobile panels for the roundup.
Whether you're a fan of ranching and farming, or just love animals and adventure, this video is sure to entertain and inspire. So sit back, grab some popcorn, and join us for an unforgettable bison wrangling experience!

The respect you give to Joe and Dunbar, I swear it’s reciprocated. Joe stood there to see what fence you wanted him to go in and when you pointed he went.
Busy. Betty's coachin' chicks, Marrisa's breaking equipment and slingin' pipe like a pro, Big Joe's leadin' his girls into where they need to be, Lady Luck has the yearling girls going back home, and Hoss has an itch. Maya's kickin' back in the buggy and goin' "Yup". And Cora's like: "Look at me !!"
Looking forward to watching the Bison get worked. Be safe everyone.
Cora is a beauty! I agree with Marisa, the Mottled Houdan is definitely cool looking! Sorry about her phone! Hoss sure wants in with the Big Joe herd! I'm glad you were able to catch his herd and get most of the yearlings gathered back together. I can't wait to watch you work them in the next video!
All of the herd is looking so healthy! Congratulations on catching all of the herds!🎉
do y'all have problems with hawks stealing your chicken???
Recommend hardware cloth around the bottom of your chicken coop. Chicken wire doesn't deter snakes, raccoons, etc. Raccoons especially are good at stretching the wire and grabbing chickens. Also recommend chicken wire to the top to prevent chicken escapees. You'll also need hardware cloth buried about 6 inches into the dirt to prevent digging predators.
It’s amazing the amount of preparation it takes just to get ready for the round up. Then there’s the working of the bison and all that it takes. You must be very tired after it is all over with. I’m exhausted just watching my granddaughters for a day. Lol. I really love these videos. My grandparents raised chickens and I loved visiting their farm for a week at a time. It was wonderful. The peace and quiet. Sometimes all you could hear was the breeze in the trees and bumblebees in the flowers.
Great job by all getting the Big Joe herd where you wanted them. Sorry about Marissa's phone. Love the chicks and Kora. Hope everything goes good with working the bison. GOD BLESS Y'ALL.
How you can tell the bison apart is beyond me - all so beautiful - Big Joe especially majestic of course. The chickens so cute. Really looking forward to the next tomorrow's vid. God bless you all.
Have spent lottttts of time with them 😄
It is so great to see everything so green and beautiful there this year and the herd is absolutely beautiful, Awoduhi!!
All your bison just look so beautiful and healthy! Hope everything runs smoothly for y’all when you work them tomorrow. Hoss reminds me so much of Dunbar when you first got him. So ornery but hilarious to watch! 🤣 God bless y’all! ❤🦬
I like watching round up and working the bison. Stay safe. God Bless and Love y'all 💕💕💕
Wow chickens really got bigbeautiful bird
The Mottled Houdin chicken looks more like a fancy pigeon!
I think Hoss is going to be even more challenging than Dunbar. He's like a teenage Dunbar. Also love the chickens. You have some fancy ones in there too but Betty is still my favorite. Can't wait for the spring roundup next time.
I agree!!
🇳🇿 Downunder New Zealand. Hi guys starting to look like you gonna have a wet n windy day working the herd tomorrow. Bugger, make it harder for Marissa doing the paperwork and record keeping. That was a great gate cut Dusty, your getting great at that now, cube training pays day. 👍
Dusty, you and the family are wonderful to watch. I love the chickens. God bless you all and the entrainment.
Dusty it is always better when you have a lovely little helper making your day! Get the phone fixed, and be glad it was only a phone.
Look forward to you working the bison. Glad things worked out.
I feel for Marissa moving those pipes. We had to move one of our coops, and we had to use pipes under it to move it.
The chickens are awesome.
Hi Dusty, you got lots of work to do but knowing you, you will get it done👍👍👍👍👍👍
Those free standing panels rock! 🪨
Yes they do!
Great job, lady and gentlemen. Looking forward to working day.

I love watching you work the bison 🦬
Thanks for raising Bison, I love watching God's creations just being themselves. God Bless y'all. John V. Marion Springs, Mi.
I’m so excited to watch you work the bison, I love to see how much their weight has gone up and to see if any of them misbehave which of course some will, I’m a total city slicker but I would love to actually be there in person to see you handle them even though I’m a big chicken lol, good luck and I’ll pray for everyone’s safety as well as the bison!!! 🙏🏻🦬🦬
I'm amazed at how quickly you all were able to get the herd in the areas you wanted. You've trained them well. They really like those cubes.😊
Love watching you round up the bison 🦬

Eat some good food, Rest well tonight, for you very long day tomorrow !😊😊😊
Oh my goodness, Dusty Chicken math overload, dude. I'm confident Mya could get Hoss going in the right direction. Those two in earlier days were hilarious. Can't wait for the working
Look at all those chickens! And theyre a good looking bunch!
Can’t wait to see the working. Great job in getting them right where ya want em. Sorry about your phone Marisa. Hopefully you get an upgrade 😂
Great job on getting all the bison caught. Should be an exciting day when you start working them. Thanks for sharing today with us. Looking forward to seeing all of the bison being worked. 😊
You definitely need more nesting boxes. That would provide a feeling of security AND makes fathering eggs easier! That will be a great set-up.
You all are doing so much…growing, working together, yes that is how it is done. Way to go! Sorry about your phone Marissa…glad that it wasn’t a person that was hurt. We enjoy watching your life.
I love watching your videos. Is the horse for Brooks I think that your videos are wonderful. They’re very informative and I love seeing how much you love what you’re doing. I’m very happy for you and your wife and baby Brooks would love to be able to see you in person and your family and your bison
Saw a chicken coop builder put rope around the roosting bars. Said it prevents splinters. FYI- research it.
Great job ❤

The calmness and nerves to steel displayed here is superb.

Awesome everybody is accounted for can hardly wait to see what's going to happen next

Cross Timbers Bison: Blessings!, Ps 91, Ephesians 6, Amen. ♥️⭐
Just love how you can round them up especially big jo and Dumbar .love❤ your videos
Dusty is always so gentle when he handles the animals.
I very much appreciate knowing that I will have a smile on my face after watching.
Thank you Dusty!
Third round up for me so I hope all get weighed, all get their Meds and nothing breaks and no rain. 🎉
Hoss trying to open the gate!😂
Great roundup!! Excited for tomorrow
That’s not luck, it’s 1, you know your Bison. 2 conditioning. 3 they are not afraid of being moved around. Luck will be tomorrow when you guys work them. Hope that all goes well! Love watching how they respond to you. You just standing at a gate and they’re like, “well… Ok, I guess I could go that way…”
Yes, conditioning is everything with managing these animals! Thank you! 🦬
I do enjoy you working with maya ,shes so smart .love to see her chasing the bison .she seems trained already .i noticeyou call on her once she gers it im happy for you and your family
Good morning Dusty and family! Ready for working the bison. That is always a thrilling time. Brooke's chickens are growing up great and love the unusual silky. Hugs from N.C..❤️
I really like watching the herd being worked, maybe in the fall , we can have a live feed?
Wow I so love watching your videos. Never a dull moment! The whole herd looks great. And they all seem happy with all the grazing they get to do. Great job catching them like you wanted!
I like the chicken run and safe for them to keep them from predators
The dog kills me the way he just sits there without a care in the world!!😂
Smooth move Marisa I seen how Dusty calmed down !🎉
Prayers for the safety of all the crew. But I do love to watch them get worked.
That's a funny looking chicken 🐔🐔 lol 😂😂. They're so cute. The Bison are looking good
Great video Dusty and Marissa you all are doing an awesome job with the bison
Great video Kevin and your lovely wife. I am looking forward to seeing the next video with you working the bisons, hope all goes well. ❤❤❤.
That looks so exciting I would love to work the Bison‼️🤪🤪🤪🤪
Absolutely love your channel. Good luck with working the Bison. God bless
Thanks Guys
Dusty, the optimistic one. Fun t watch the hard work tho. Remember to ALWAYS be mindful of the power and wildness of the Bison .
Ps , your little Filly horse needs a shedding/ grooming clip session. She might find the electric clippers scary so do not tie her up solid. Have a horse person help out w/ her. She is super calm as I surmise from your videos.
Thanks for the fun. SAFETY ALWAYS !
Greetings from Rhode Island, " The Ocean State "
Good grief are you and Marisa are so busy! Brooke's is a happy little girl.
I wished we could see Dunbar more often. Love your videos
You get lucky because you are a good man and the lord bestows his blessing on good people lots of love from Newfoundland
Wild that everything worked out!
Gtreat Job and luck Dusty and Marisa 🤗🙏❤️
Love those silly ones. With the big top knot and the feathered feet, they are so darn cute. Donna/MIchigan
Loved how you got them in the pen.
So looking forward to roundup!
Well that went well. Love the chickens. Seems like the only problem was the phone 😢.
Nice flock of pullets you have there! Looks about time to introduce a rooster and make eggs. For those reading this don't know, pullets can lay eggs without a rooster, but fertilized eggs are bigger.
❤️ your video! Marissa, I salute you!!!
That gray chickens that you have in your arms, dusty, looks like one I've seen before on RUclips. George from "What The Hales$" call Sid, her "pigeon looking chicken" I get a good chuckle out of it because it does look more like a bed than the chicken.
Haha
That one rooster looked like Don King
Just amazing! Thank you for sharing.
Great Job guy’s
Marissa we have all felt that pain
U and your wife make such a great team i love watching you guys and ur little girl perfect ❤️
