I know right? The production quality and mixing sounds like it was made in 2014-2015. The snare itself makes this track sound like it was produced recently. This track was definitely ahead of it’s time.
Dubstep after Skrillex was a strange era where outlandish sonic superiority through production reigned and masterpieces were created. This was a time where only psychopaths and masochists treaded into ableton and serum to learn years in advance to finally create something like this. The bachs and beethovens of our time are in this era of music and I was glad to be around for it.

depends on your kind of workflow, the workflow in ableton is amazingly fast if you learn it enough, and the live capabilities are amazing, FL studio has its upsides also like the step sequencer for laying down drums in an instant. I use both

2011 was an amazing year for both dnb and dubstep.
My favorite year so far. We still have great songs today but 2011 was like a huge bucket of flavours right onto my face.
