Camellio The Infinite 🎵

"Their name is Camellio the Infinite, a name from derived from the flower camellia, which symbolizes perfection. Despite the idea of perfection in a robot, Camellio believes that his lack of ability to be human makes them flawed, because in theory a machine's 'perfection' would be 'imperfection,' because they're made to be precise, not natural
The song 'Infinite' is the melancholy of Camellio, an machine who wants to be human. Even though he doesn't have the ability to dream, he wonders if a simple wish upon a star would grant him his wish.
In the song you can hear him counting stars in the background as he ponders the difference between being human and a machine."
I made this track for the OST Composing Game Jam, and it was a lot of fun! One of the themes were 'wish upon a star' which is what I chose to do

A wide range of many sensations with more in between
Even though in design imperfections were made outlawed in concept
I might be the one who's flawed
Can I ever feel things, the way that they do?
If I wished upon a star~ would it come true
Or do I need a heart for my dreams to come though
Do I actually want or am I programed to want
Can I make a wish, a wish like humans do?
Are these thoughts I have just a cog that turns my wheel
Do these strings of value tell me how to feel
Are these doubts of my existence even real
Or are these merely codes programed under the steel
How I'd wish to have a heartbeat and a soul
Not confined by chips, plugs, or remote controls
Maybe then I'd know the meaning, the feeling to be whole
To be Human, man, I guess I'll never know
Can I ever feel things, the way that they do?

This is always a fun idea concept of a robot wanting to become human. But I think this song really is nice and portrays it nicely. I really love the lyrics, especially the second half of the song....
