The interviewer had bad questions and responses ....Thomas was clearly being patient with her . he even tried to introduce a member of his staff but she didn't acknowledge..
fancy place! I see why Gavin Newsom felt it is worth risking his political career over it to go enjoy himself there while he ORDERED everybody else to stay home!
Yea I was mad at him at first but a little less mad when realizing that it was French laundry. I’d sacrifice my political career to eat at a meal cooked by America’s most legendary chef.
There is no $310 meal. It's a course of around 20 meals served for something like 3 hours. It's not about having dinner, you don't go there and then to the movies, it's a main event.
+Lucas Oliveira New York City is a terrible place to open or run a new restaurant. staff & chefs can't work there, food & vendors(procurement) is tough, health codes & insurance is a bear. Many places shut down in less than 24mo.
I think the criticism below are a little juvenile. No, she is not a professional interviewer or a restaurant groupie, but she is pleasant and the segment is informative. And the writer should have viewed the video prior to writing the headline.
@James Wegrzyn I disagree. Ramsey has 16 TOTAL. Only holds 7 now. Same as Keller. Keller is the only chef to EVER been He is the only American chef to have been awarded simultaneous three-star Michelin ratings for two different restaurants. He also always held his 7 and never fluxed. On numbers alone its Ramsay, head to head its Keller.
This is day time tv land people. she's not trying to solve a mystery. It's soft news. Luxury news. This is lifestyles of the rich and famous plus goofy foodnetwork spin. Food is just a shit you haven't taken yet. Enjoy.
Is not about eating some food, it is about a 3 or more hour dining experience. If you enjoy places like Red Lobster, Olive Garden, etc... You would not enjoy Per Se, French Laundry, La Bernardine, Eleven Madison Park, etc... These are all multi-Michelin Star restaurants worth every penny.
Its not insane. A Michelin star restaurant has like 15 highly chefs working on every meal. It's all incredibly refined. Theyre making their own pasta, stocks, vinegars, maybe even olive oils. Those chefs need to get paid, and even then they dont make much

she's a model/actress/presenter. She bounces up & down like she has to pee. not classy. The one chef ignored her which is what I'd do.
She was clearly out of her depth, as an interesting, and professionally experienced interviewer. That was cringe worthy.
She sounds and looks so dumb
She's a completely idiot when it comes interviewing important and well-known people like Chef Thomas Keller.
Chef Keller is my kitchen hero !
0:52 cuts to the guy slicing through MASSIVE cubes of butter
Bad INTERVIEWER.. no clue what goes to the kitchen of a restaurant... send someone who has knowledge of the business at least please..

This is Per Se in New York City. Pay attention
Thank you, Chef.
Let Thomas speak. The interviewer kept interrupting him.
I clicked on it because I thought he would be assembling a $310 meal!! Not even!...still was kinda interesting though.

Ty Chef one day I will meet you. My aprons is off to you. I wish I had the honor for working for you.
I wanna know what Ramsay thinks of him
Michael Ruhlman brought me here
The person who interviewed him did a horrible, aloof 'job'. Her bosses made a horrible decision sending her in for this interview job.
It's amazing how much Keller and Jordan Peterson look alike.
They both like lobster
please ask Thomas Keller about using/use of Truffle Oil.
The lady is absolutely terrible at a this interview
310 not bad
Gordon Ramsay vs Thomas Keller
Cooking you a badass meal at your place, Ramsay. Cooking you the greatest meal of your life at his restaurant, Keller.
That's not even a contest.
That would be a very stiff competition 15 years ago, not as much anymore

When is he going to appear as a judge in masterchef???
I'm sure he has no time or desire to be involved in such nonsense.
@@elbob248 he did appear in mc australia though
nice host
If this was filmed today. Theyd all be in masks...shame...
Ignorant interviewer a bad choice to question the best.

"A FOOL and His money are soon parted" ! $310 per meal................INSANE !

Davebow Hol Only for someone who would go there without having the capacity to appreciate the experience.
the reason he gave for the tv was ridiculous.
JenkyBoom ctfuup he keeping a eye on they ass
I agree. it seems odd & creepy. Why see a kitchen 3000mi away? What are you going to do?
